Study Hall -- Friday, September 30th

Welcome to Friday's study hall. Sorry I didn't open the doors sooner. I was off venting some frustrations at the firing range.

In any event, a few announcements:

-- drgrissom, if you're still up for detention, it is all yours, and yes, you're free to experiment on the students within reason. (For example, "Does this student weigh as much as a duck?" is within reason, while "Can this student catch an anvil on the tip of their tongue like a snowflake?" is not within reason.) Teachers, I will post a sign-up sheet in this study hall for you to report which students will have detention this weekend.

-- If you haven't met him yet, please meet our new dean of students, dean_bristow.

Kiki blushes at the praise. "Thank you, and yes, this is my cat, Jiji."

At the mention of his name, a black cat slinks out from under the desk and starts investigating ihatedenmark.

"Yeah - English class? No idea about it. I guess Prof Schecter's disappeared, too? Intro to Business has met a few times, but there hasn't been much. The only class that's been consistent is Jareth's class on magic. How about yours?"

I'm signed up for four, but it only seems as though my Lifestyles class and my Languages class ever meet. I find it disappointing, as I was quite looking forward to Prof Schecter's lessons.

"Yeah, me too. I had been hoping things would pick up but with all the bizarre disappearances that have been going on around here - well, who knows when classes will ever meet. Have you heard if there's been any luck in locating any of the missing students or staff?"
