Library [10/29]

Sam had the biggest cup of coffee that the Perk would sell as he came to open the library. As much fun as his road trip with Dean had been, it had left him more wiped than he'd expected.

"I'm not your average guy," Dean countered. "Also, I've 15 years -- well more or less -- of big brother experience that you don't. I know how to be awesome at it."

"I didn't know what to expect," Sam said defensively. "It wasn't quite as bad as I thought it would be."

Dean made a face. "Okay, now there's a mental image that's going to be hard to get rid of."

Sam laughed, and made a little motion in the air like he was giving himself a point.

"Yeah, I have noticed that," Dean said. "Speaking of wearing, you figured out what you're going to be for Halloween yet?"

"Okay, dude, that's just wrong. I mean, yeah when we were little, it was different, Dad was worried about it being safe, which given everything you can't blame him for. But now, here..."

"It's not that it isn't safe here. That's not a concern for me at all," Sam insisted. "I don't know, I just don't think it's that big of a deal."

Sam snickered. "Well, we know where your priorities are, don't we?" he said. "I don't know what I'd dress up as. I did the priest thing last year, but I think there are societal rules that say you can't do the same thing two years in a row."
