When Lee got to the classroom today, there was a note on the door written in what appeared to be very shaky, very scared handwriting.

Fleeing the crazy.

Lee stared at the note for a long time and then shook his head before going into the classroom and trying to think of SOMETHING to do.

When everyone started filing in and settled down, Lee said, "Ares went and got married this weekend." Hey, he was in control. "To some girl name Rowena. I think they're on their honeymoon now or something. Make sure to wish him well when he gets back. He didn't leave us anything to do so I'm going to make something up. As a lot of you saw, I got stuck to the side of the dorms in my underwear last week by a teacher who you all should call grandmother when you see her. And then tell her I told you too."

What the hell, right?

"Anyway, that leads to the big question. Boxers or briefs? Or nothing? For girls...well, I don't know what underwear girls wear so the girls can figure that out? Why's one better than the other? Why would anyone for a frakking thong? And what the frak is up with this planet's obsession with thongs?"

Lee really shouldn't make things up off the top of his bed.

"No modeling though. Ares might reappear as soon as that happened and that'd be creepy. Oh, and if anyone would like to bitch about Parent's Weekend, we can do that too. We probably need to."

And then Lee sat down at the desk and waited for the discussions.

"I'm keeping a journal."

That surprised her a lot. "About what?"

Dean shrugged. "Bit of everything. Stuff that happens, stuff I'd be telling him if he was here."

"So, like, a bunch of letters, or notes, or gossip, or what?"

"Yes," Dean said. "I guess they're kinda letters. Or one long letter."

"You gonna give it to him when he gets back, or just use it to remind yourself what to talk about?"

"Was thinking of giving it to him. Unless, y'know, I get too emo or something. In which case, we're back to plan yell at him instead."

"How emo is too emo?" She asked, purely out of curiosity.

"If I start making myself cringe and roll my eyes when I reread it," Dean said. "I don't want to come off as a teenage girl that got dumped or something." He glanced up. "Er, no offense about the teenage girl thing."

"None taken. Note to self: Don't come to you if I get dumped."

"That's different," Dean insisted. "I mean, firstly, you are a teenaged girl so that totally gives you a pass about acting like one. Secondly, you come to me so I can go kick my brother's ass for acting like an idiot."

"Hey, you don't know," she shrugged, "maybe I'll deserve it. Or maybe it'll just be time for Sam to move...wow. Okay, can we not think about that anymore?"

"And I stand by my 'kick my brother's ass for acting like an idiot' as the appropriate action to take," Dean said. "But don't worry. Sammy's actually a pretty smart guy most of the time. I doubt it's going to come up."

"Going away to college in September," she reminded him.

"And like I said, that just means you'll have to have really really intense weekends visiting each other," Dean said. "And possibly hot phone sex."

Dawn brightened as she realized the implications, and for once, only blushed a pale pink instead of bright red. "You have the best ideas."

Dean grinned. "And this is why you shouldn't forget about me," he added with just a hint of point.

"No more forgetting," she promised, her right hand raised.

"Good. Now to get this back on class topic, you want to tell me about your underwear?" Dean waggled his eyebrows at her.

She stuck her tongue out at him and tried to stop her brain from remembering things it shouldn't. "You know all about what my underwear looks like already."
