Annette grabbed the tail that she cut off and stood there, watching the Jabberwocky fall. She cringed at hearing the crunch and snap and her bottom lip wibbled. She's never killed anything in her life. Hopefully it just fainted? She wasn't going to go and look. Poor evil thing.

There was a tiny movement from the copse. Could be a stunned Jabberwocky waking up, could be a tiny woodland creature coming to give its corpse a good kicking. It was impossible to tell without getting closer.
