Aly might have moved her desk to the corner of the room with the best sight lines.

No reason.

There were donuts but the coffee was long gone. Possibly because Aly drank it all.

Zuko blinked. "It tastes good."

She grinned at him. "I'm teasing you again."

"I knew that." No, he didn't. "How's Trick?"

"I think he's bored," Aly said, making a face.

"Want to fight!" Trick said, popping his head up at the side of Aly's neck. Have fun!"

Zuko made a face. "There's not much fighting here." He wasn't counting his daily bickerings with Mel.

Aly chuckled and held up a hand for Trick to jump onto.

"Sometimes! Only fun now is pranks though."

"Haven't done any pranks," Zuko muttered.

"We could!" Trick tried hopefully.

Aly facepalmed with the non-darking holding hand.

"Who?" Zuko wanted to know.

Trick looked around then pretended to whisper. "People who wouldn't laugh."

"People here have a strange sense of humour," Zuko pointed out, wondering why he was whispering too.

"The principal!" Trick suggested.

Zuko made as face and shook his head. "I am in her debt, it would be disrespectful."

Trick hopped off Aly's hand to try to climb up onto Zuko's shoulder. "Darking watchtower?"

He didn't try to stop the darking, but he shook his head. "I'm not going anywhere."

"Could prank Aly," Trick whispered once he was close enough.

That had been a while and Zuko raised an eyebrow. "I'm listening."

Aly raised an eyebrow at the two of them and shook her head.

"It'll be fun?"

"Perhaps," he said slowly, trying to think of anything he could do. It was a shame Crichton didn't teach class anymore, he was good at this stuff.

Trick bounced. "Please?"

Aly made a teasing face. "Not trying to steal my friend away from me, are you?" she asked, possibly referring to either of them.

"I would bring him back," Zuko remarked, possibly only seeing one reference. It may also have been an agreement with Trick.

"I trust that," she agreed. "But then what if Trick runs off with you?"

Zuko blinked, not quite following. "Run where?"
