Hey, maybe they'd ask him to join the teacher version of the Avengers next! He'd say no, of course, being on that team means you automatically have to die the next time Wanda Maximoff goes nutso. No thanks on that.

"Morning kiddies!" Yes he was still in a good mood. It's surprising how much smackin' someone around can improve that. "Today we're doing something a liiiiiittle bit different. We've had a few classes now, and I've shown you pretty good examples of feminism in the past and present-" (Especially the pole dancing) "-now it's your turn. I want you to break into groups of an indeterminate number to come up with what you all think a good role model for the young women out there should be. Is it Tyra Banks? Wendy the Werewolf Stalker? Those adorable Olsen twins before they went to rehab and had eating disorders? It's aaaaalllll up to you kids to tell me."

Faile waited for someone who needed a partner. Not the anybody she could mention as a role model would be known by anyone here.

Dawn sat down near the girl she didn't remember meeting. "Hi."

Faile smiled in greeting. "Hello. In need of a partner?"

"I am! Er, hi, I'm Dawn. Summers. Um. Have we met?"

Faile shook her head. "I don't believe we have. I'm called Faile. It's nice to meet you, Dawn."

"So, who do you admire?" Dawn didn't see any reason for beating around the bush.

Faile chuckled. "No one you would know," she said and the explained. "I would have to say my cousin, Queen Tenobia. She is a good queen and all of the generals respect her."

"How come? Is she super strong, or super smart, or what?"

Faile smiled proudly. "When she was sixteen she banished my father, for a time anyway, because he wasn't going to let her lead her armies into the Blight."

"And leading armies into something called a Blight is a good thing?"

"It is very brave," Faile said. "The Blight is full of Shadowspawn and other dangerous things."

"And your cousin wanted to lead the army there why?"

Faile blinked. "Because she was queen and the Blight was expanding and the Shadowspawn were threatening her people," she said. "If she was a boy, they would have let her go."

"Okay, see, now that's a reason to lead people into battle," Dawn nodded approvingly, "and it sucks hard that they wouldn't let her go just because she has to sit down to pee, as if that makes a difference."

Faile giggled. "This seems to concern the men a lot where I'm from," she said, very amused.

"It's cause the urinals are so stinky," she confided. "Makes 'em grumpy."

Faile giggled again.

"What about you?" she asked. "Who do you admire?"

Dawn got very quiet as she considered that for a few minutes. "Lots of people, but especially my friend Tara. She was awesome."

"How so?"

"She...she was like light, you know? She liked almost everyone, and was just peaceful." Dawn smiled slightly as she remembered. "She saw people who weren't used to being seen, and made sure they got noticed, too. She cared."

"She sounds nice," Faile said.

"She was. One of the best people I ever knew."
