There was the usual spread of goodies laid out for the students as they came in to class today. Wilson was sipping on some coffee as he finished setting up a project which he turned on and set to hibernate for the time being.

Once everyone was seated, he walked back to his desk and picked up a large stack of blue books of doom.

"Okay guys, today is your first test. I hope you all made some use of the study halls over the past week, though ... studying probably won't help you with this test."

Don't you just love tests like that?

Walking around he handed out the blue books doom and then came back down to the projector.

"The test. Here is a picture of a fairly run of the mill dorm room. I want you each to study this image and come up with three different ways, items in this room could be used to help you in the following scenarios."

Walking to the chalk board, he listed.

List
Escape brain eating zombies
Escape a bad date
Escape an island drenching flood
Defend yourself from Gremlins
Deal with your roommate turning into a wild animal.

"So, to be clear you'll have a total of 15 answers, three to each scenario. All clear? Wonderful! Good luck!"

Sometime towards the end of the hour, Wilson move back to the chalkboard and wrote.

Next week we will have a guest speaker, please be prepared.

Johnny was your brother? Isabel wrote, ignoring the mention of Wyatt, because it was such fun on the River Denial.

Chris facepalmed before writing back.

He and Savannah were watching movies with me and Summer. We all woke up together on Saturday. Summer and I thought we were together. I thought Johnny was my brother. The girls thought they were best friends. It... was kind of a mess.

Even the little bit she knew about the real dynamics of the situation was enough to make Isabel facepalm in sympathy.

Oh ouch. As long as no one did anything they regretted?

Summer and I kissed a couple of times, but on the whole, I think it worked out okay.

That's good. Wacky weekend hijinks should not cause angst.

Yeah, at least I didn't try to attack anyone this time. Chris wasn't likely to forget his evil self and his brother's evil self trying to hurt Jo anytime soon.

And I didn't attempt to sleep with half the school. Only one. But he was a gentleman.

Chris's eyes nearly bugged out of his head.

That's... good.

Isabel rolled her eyes. Personally I prefer to pretend I spent that weekend locked in my room with a good book. I thought I was my dupe. An evil bitch-ho by the name of Lonnie.

Do we need to vanquish her?

I took care of it myself when she came round last year looking to screw with my head. But thanks.

Wow she really was the perfect girl for Wyatt.

Good, glad to hear she won't be bothering you again.

Tell me about it. Now if I can just avoid a repeat version of that particular weekend, I'll be doing okay.

Mostly. She was a bit worried about the fallout from this particular weekend.

Chris looked over and smiled.

If you ever need help, you know where to find me.

After all, she was practically family, right?

Thanks. I appreciate it.

And that would be Isabel facepalming at the posturing between Wyatt and Johnny.

Chris followed her gaze and did some facepalming of his own. He and Johnny actually managed to have a civil conversation, but if there was a fight, he'd have to take his brother's side.

Isabel was friends with both of them. That meant she'd treat them equally.

And TK them both if necessary.

She shook her head at Chris and rolled her eyes.

"This can't end well," Chris whispered.

"No, not at all," she agreed. "I can't decide if it's better for them to take it somewhere else where we can't see. Or start something here where any number of people would kick both their asses for being macho putzes."

Chris considered that. "Maybe we could get extra credit on our exam if we figure out how to break it up?"

Isabel wiggled her fingers, then pointed. "Easy enough. Johnny that way, and Wyatt into the opposite corner."

"I wish my control was that good," Chris said.

"It takes practice. Remember, I've been doing it since I was hatched," she explained. "Granted it's only since I've come to Fandom that I've been able to do bigger things. You guys have only know about your powers for a few months right?

Chris nodded. "About ten months or so," he said.

"Then give it time and practice a lot," Isabel told him. "Start small, a pebble or two at a time. Then three or four. Then move on to bigger rocks. With a lot of lather, rinse, repeat going on."
