Study Hall - [All Day]

Wilson remembered a few things he'd heard about study hall in the past but the one thing that stuck in his head was the importance of having food available.

Thus he'd stopped by JGOB that morning and picked up a large sack full of bagels and pastries with various cream cheeses (for the bagels not the pastries) as well as a box of coffee and some sodas and other moddable drinks.

Laying out the spread on a free table, Wilson took himself over to the desk and settled down with a stack of medical journals and a large cup of coffee for himself.

[ooc: Please wait for The OCDs are up! Study Hall is open for all students and faculty.]

Before she left the study hall at the beginning of the lunch period, Beauty walked up to the desk where her teacher was sitting.

"Excuse me, Doctor Wilson?" she said softly, just in case he was really busy with whatever it was he was working on.

Returning the smile, Beauty stepped a bit closer.

"I wanted to tell you that I've been studying Latin like you suggested. I found some primers in the library, and Andrew Wells is tutoring me."

Like any good student, Beauty glowed under the praise. "May I ask you a question?"

"The things that people keep talking about happening here -- things like the zombies from that one class exercise, and the students turning into pets, and the dragons."

Beauty bit at her lip as she tried to think how to explain what she wanted to know. "People keep telling me that 'things' happen here, as though it's something I should be warned about. And yet it doesn't seem like a dangerous kind of place, and people seem pretty happy to be here. So I was just wondering how much of that was the kind of thing you tell someone who's new, to tease them, and how much is really a warning that should be taken seriously?"

Beauty nodded, listening carefully to what Wilson was telling her. Keep an open mind, and be prepared for things to happen.

"I always used to think my life was a little bit dull," she replied, with a bemused smile. "I suppose I'm about to learn my lesson, aren't I?"
