2nd Banana Club: Thursday Afternoon

Ron usually isn't one for spending money unless he absolutely needs to do so. However since he started the club he made sure that ther was food and refreshments available. He was a bit put off by the fact that he couldn't find pumpkin juice any where but at least he could serve tea.

After everyone had arrived he stood up. "Hey. I'm Ron. Welcome to the second Banana club. Since this is our first meeting I thought we'd just introduce ourselves and talk a bit about where we're from. Rose Tyler is our Faculty Advisor so feel free to chat her up anytimeif she's here. Also if there's anything you'd like to do as an activity for the club feel free to speak up."

"Like I said before, I'm Ron. If you haven't met them yet, my best mates are Harry Potter and Hermione Granger. Harry's a bit of a special sort where I come from and every year we seem to end up having a big old adventure of some sort that gets us into all sorts of trouble. Sometimes it's absolutely amazing and other times... well other times it's the most horrifying thing imaginable. But Harry's my friend and I'll be damned if I wasn't going to be there for him. We've had our issues from time to time as well as some pretty big fights but that's just par for the course really. That's really about it for me. Who's next?"

Artoo burbled, warbled, blatted and spun in circles as he listed off forty years of bitchery about the trouble the Skywalker boys had gotten him into.

It was very moving, if you spoke droid.

If not, it was just kind of loud.

"Can anyone decipher what that bloody trashcan is trying to say? And what is this muck he brought with him?" Ron asked as he poked at the onion dip.

Sokka patted Artoo condescendingly while dipping a frozen banana in the onion dip. "You tell 'em, Metalhead!"

He took a bite, made a face, and shuddered.

And then dipped the banana back in the dip.

"I'm Liz Sherman," Liz said, "I'm from New Jersey and my guardian's head of a paranormal research and defence agency. I can also control fire," she said and briefly summoned flames in her hand.

Sure, Sokka knew Liz from classes. Still, it didn't hurt to double- (or triple-?) check. "This 'New Jersey'... It's not in the Fire Nation, is it?"

If anyone could see inside his head he's visualizing the memory of Draco getting punched in the face.

"I'm Sokka, and I brought bananas," Sokka said, handing out frozen bananas to anyone who wanted one.

"I'm the brains of Team Avatar. And the muscle. We're kind of backup for my best friend Aang, who's going to save the world."

He frowned. "Except not right now, because I'm in Fandom..." he said, trailing off.

"I'm Katara and...basically what Sokka said since he's my brother and all," Katara said. "Except I'm..." she eyed Sokka. "Well, he claimed the brains and the muscle and I don't think I want to keep going with that metaphor there."

"Hiya! I'm Rikku. I totally helped save the world, like, Yunie's the one who did it, but I was one of her Guardians so she could stay alive to do it? And I think that should totally count. Besides I had to fight fiends a whole lot and - you know." She bounced on her toes. "And I'm an Al Bhed. Lots of people didn't like us and did bad stuff to us but that's way depressing so, uh, I dunno. Oh! And I'm Hermione's roommate, too. She rocks."
