Communication: Week 3 (Thursday, P5)

Silent Bob hustled into the classroom, looking over his shoulder as if afraid he was being followed, and quickly shut the door. He relaxed a little bit and waved at the students cheerfully before starting to write on his ever-beloved whiteboard.

VERBAL - INSU

Unfortunately, that was all he got to write when the door came crashing open and a very irate hetero-lifemate was standing there.

"What the fuck, fatass? There is no fucking way you're pussying out on letting me fuck with your little class. What, you fucking thought I wouldn't find you?"

Bob sighed and buried his face in one hand before turning back to the board and finishing his thought.

He turned back to the class and flicked his hand in a few gestures meant to indicate that they should pair up and try to make the other person cry.

Chris snickered and considered toying with her. "Well, you can try," he said, planning to orb out as soon as her hand got close.

Her eyebrows rose at the challenge in his posture and she grinned just a bit.

"I'm very fast, you know." Halfway through "fast" her hand shot out without warning. Just trying to grab his arm to prove her point. No sense in actually hitting someone who hasn't done anything to deserve it.

Luckily, Chris was watching and he managed to orb just before her hand made contact. He reappeared a few moments later in the same spot and grinned.

"You are really fast though," Chris complimented, completely disregarding the class assignment. "Witch, demon, mutant, other?"

"Um..." she frowned, working to interpret the different options. "Just fast, I think." About as fast as a human can get, but still human.

"That's cool," Chris nodded. "I know it's a weird question to ask, but a lot of people around here are... different."

"Like you?" she grinned, but then nodded. "I've noticed that."

Chris shrugged. "Yeah, I guess. I'm half-witch, half-whitelighter," he said. "White lighters where I'm from are guardian angels for witches. My mom fell in love with hers."

"Oh," Cassandra said in a voice that very much conveyed that she had no idea what he was talking about. Not that it mattered, he seemed like a good enough guy anyway.
