Ares addressed his class once they'd all come in. "Good afternoon, class, today Aly will be judging your work," he nodded towards the judge's desk. "So I expect you to all show her the proper respect."

"Hopefully, you will all have noticed that I did not ask for you to bring in clothing this lesson, that's because we're not going to be dealing with clothing today," he said, gesturing to a large assortment of jars and equipment at the front of the classroom. "Body paint." He launched into a lecture on the various historical uses of body paint, especially in regards to warfare for some crazy reason, before explaining that they'd have to come up with and implement body paint designs. "Now, regulations about so-called 'appropriate behaviour' prevent me from ordering you to actually strip naked to facilitate this, but I would recommend wearing only underwear this class, unless you want to ruin all your clothing."

"So are you going to miss me while I'm gone?"

"No question," Peter told her. "Though I am happy for you."

"Thanks. I'm kind of still in the pinch me stage," Isabel admitted. "I'll believe it for real when I actually see them."

"You can call if it gets to be too much for you."

"Nah, I'll have down time. I'm sure Max and Michael's girlfriends will be stealing them away often enough," she explained. "Not that I blame them."

Isabel didn't blush. Much. "Max is a good guy, even if I have wanted to kill him at times. And he and Liz have this whole star-crossed thing going for them. He risked everything to save her. And Maria and Michael? Well, she's force of nature, it's impossible for him to resist her. You'll meet them at some point, maybe."

Isabel raised and eyebrow. "That might be stretching it a bit. Maybe they'd like me more in body paint?"

He facepalmed and prayed for death.
