There had been a ~~handwavey~~ correspondance to the students to let them know to meet in the Danger Room today, though have no fear, this in no way meant there were no treats. Wilson had made Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake bars for the students to get their sweet fix satisfied. There was also coffee, tea and water.

Wilson himself was leaning against a wall with a cup of coffee in his hand. As soon as everybody was in the Danger Room and accounted for, the young doctor grinned and straightened up.

"All right then. Today is our first practical lesson. You are each going to face down an insideous opponant, one by one through that door there. You can not use force, you can not use powers. Johnny, you can try fire on the door, it won't give, it's designed to be impervious to all your powers, magical or otherwise. You must play by the door's rules."

He waited for the students to finish looking at him as if he'd grown a second head and grinned around his coffee cup.

"Yes I said door. You'll understand when you get into the scenario. Now the rules are you have three chances to make it through the door. After that, times up and either you solve the door's challenge or you loose. Loosing won't affect your grade but I hope it will make you think. Winning ... gives you bragging rights over the door. Okay, everyone understand? Then step up and you go in alphabetical order."

Picking up a clipboard, he began to read off the list.

Of course you don't have to stick to class list order, since time zones and the like. No using of powers to get past the door, the Danger Room is designed specifically to everybodies unique power strengths to withstand those strengths. "In the movies too," Johnny said then asked, "You've first-hand experience saving lives?"

"Yeah," Chris said simply.

"Me too," Johnny said cause he wanted to sound brilliant too. "Like all of New York."

"That's nice," Chris said. "I rescued someone from hell. And helped save Fandom."

"It wasn't that Bel dude was it?" Johnny was thinking he might have let that Von Doom look-alike stay in hell.

"Yeah, it was. He's my uncle. Sort of," Chris shook his head. "My family relationships are a little weird here."

"Uncle?" Right, he could understand that. Eve being Savannah's mom and all. "Did you save him cause he was your uncle or just an all around nice demon sort?"

"I saved him because of my aunt," Chris said.

"Who is?"

"Phoebe Halliwell."

Ah, of course. Phoebe's hot. Not that Johnny had thoughts of other chicks anymore since hooking up with Savannah. Nope.

"You going to Homecoming?"

Chris shrugged. "Don't know yet. Maybe."

If Johnny started gloating about being with Savannah, Chris might hit him.

"You should ask someone, will be fun."

Pause.

"Yeah, I plan on having a great time with Savannah. Not sure what I'm going to wear yet, but I'll be looking good for my girl, you can bet that much." Goading? Why would you think that?

"Good for you," Chris said, his tone turning cool and vaguely warning.

Johnny continued on... he was amusing himself, yes. "God, I bet she's going to look sexy as hell. I wonder what she's going to wear. You think sleek or frilly?"

Chris gritted his teeth. It would be bad to hit a classmate. "I don't know much about dresses."

"You do know what sexy is though, right?"

"You getting hit in the face if you keep this conversation going?"

Hah! A little male testosterone kicking in, eh? How amusing. Chris was completely jealous.

"Savannah wouldn't think my face was too sexy if it sported an ugly bruise."

"Probably not," Chris agreed. "She also probably wouldn't appreciate you talking about her like she's some kind of prize."

All right, Johnny wasn't amused anymore. "She isn't a prize; she's my girlfriend and I happen to like talking about how beautiful she is. You got a problem with that?"

"As long as you treat her with the respect she deserves, no," Chris said. "But she is my friend and I want to make sure she's happy."

"She get's my respect; don't believe me, just ask her." Johnny said low. "She is happy. Trust me." Johnny was, after all, a great kind of guy.

"Good. Make sure she stays that way and you and I won't have any problems."

Johnny leaned towards the other boy slightly. "You and I won't have any problems where Savannah is concerned, Chris. She's my girl, not yours, therefore none of your business."
