Keeping Your Wits About You... [Monday 2nd Period 10-11] Class # 3

There had been a handwavey correspondance to the students to let them know to meet in the Danger Room today, though have no fear, this in no way meant there were no treats. Wilson had made Lemon Blueberry Cheesecake bars for the students to get their sweet fix satisfied. There was also coffee, tea and water.

Wilson himself was leaning against a wall with a cup of coffee in his hand. As soon as everybody was in the Danger Room and accounted for, the young doctor grinned and straightened up.



"All right then. Today is our first practical lesson. You are each going to face down an insideous opponant, one by one through that door there. You can not use force, you can not use powers. Johnny, you can try fire on the door, it won't give, it's designed to be impervious to all your powers, magical or otherwise. You must play by the door's rules."

He waited for the students to finish looking at him as if he'd grown a second head and grinned around his coffee cup.

"Yes I said door. You'll understand when you get into the scenario. Now the rules are you have three chances to make it through the door. After that, times up and either you solve the door's challenge or you loose. Loosing won't affect your grade but I hope it will make you think. Winning ... gives you bragging rights over the door. Okay, everyone understand? Then step up and you go in alphabetical order."

Picking up a clipboard, he began to read off the list.

[ooc: Rules: You get 3 tags to ask the door questions and work out the riddle. So there should be a total of 6 tags with the door giving the final tag, the first tag by the door does not count it just establishes the riddle.

Of course you don't have to stick to class list order, since time zones and the like. No using of powers to get past the door, the Danger Room is designed specifically to everybodies unique power strengths to withstand those strengths. All right, Johnny wasn't amused anymore. "She isn't a prize; she's my girlfriend and I happen to like talking about how beautiful she is. You got a problem with that?"

"As long as you treat her with the respect she deserves, no," Chris said. "But she is my friend and I want to make sure she's happy."

"She get's my respect; don't believe me, just ask her." Johnny said low. "She is happy. Trust me." Johnny was, after all, a great kind of guy.

Johnny leaned towards the other boy slightly. "You and I won't have any problems where Savannah is concerned, Chris. She's my girl, not yours, therefore none of your business."

Chris glared at Johnny. "As I said, she is my friend and therefore I care about her, so that makes it my business."

"Really? And how much do you think you should know, Chris?" Yeah, he was letting Chris push his buttons. "Want to know how I treat her when we make out? Does she like it? Am I touching her right? Where's the line, buddy?"

"I don't need to know anything except that you're treating Savannah with respect and that you're not out screwing around on her," Chris said. "Because, you know, the whole reason that she asked me out in the first place was because you were dating half the damn school."

At this, Johnny smirked. "Just cause you can't get a date doesn't mean the rest of us have to sit around on our asses." He shrugged a shoulder. "I dated, found a girl I liked, really liked, and asked her out. Not my fault she favored me over you."

"Who said I couldn't get a date?" Chris asked. "I'm merely pointing out that Savannah did the asking, not me. And she did it because you were treating her like crap. So forgive me for being concerned about a friend."

"When was your last date?" Johnny asked, serious. "She told you I was treating her like crap?"

"Yesterday," Chris said, deciding that Anne bringing him a cake totally counted as a date right now.

"No, she told my brother and he told me."

And that might not have been the exact words, but Chris wasn't caring much at the moment.

Any chick bringing you food was definitely a date.

"Huh." He was wondering about Savannah being so close to these guys. "I wasn't treating her like crap." He sulked, a bit.
