Amazingly enough, this part of the lawn looked pretty clear. For the moment, at least.

"But they're extinct? but then I guess we're meant to think dragons are too," Harry replied. "Or Muggles are, I guess."

"Muggle?" Anemone's eyes narrowed and she took a step back from the Harry-boy. "Where did you learn that word? That Woman used that word. I don't like it, and I didn't like her. Do you know her?"

"No! No, I don't mean it as an insult," Harry said quickly. "She's evil. I know her from before, she's part of my world. It just means you're not magic." He scruffed a hand through his hair. "Are you?"

"Evil is such a pleasant word for that creature." Anemone wrinkled her nose in distaste at the memory. "Magic? No. Not unless you count the magic of science. Or the science of magic. Whichever way you prefer it."

"I'm not much of one for science," he admitted. "I hate potions and didn't do too well in Muggle science before I started at Hogwarts -- magic school. What kind of science?"

"Genetics. Neural chemistry. Biology of hybridization." she shrugged. "Magic to me. My specialty is aerodynamics and flight."

"What do you fly?" he asked curiously.

"Anything that Master Skywalker will let me get my greedy little hands on. Do you fly too? There's an entire class on it, during the summer at least. I don't think it's taught during the year." Anemone bounced slightly at the thought of someone else who enjoyed flying. "However the bulk of my training is for the LFO aircraft for U.F. Force. This? Is not my world either."
