Amazingly enough, this part of the lawn looked pretty clear. For the moment, at least.

"Hi," she says cheerfully. "My name's Carmela."

"Nice to meet you," Carmela says, shaking the offered hand. "Finding everything okay so far?"

Carmela quirks an eyebrow. "That's... one way of putting it, yeah," she admits. "It can be sort of overwhelming, all at once."

"Excellent," Carmela grins. "I'm rather fond of it. Since I've been here a year and haven't gone crazy or run away screaming." Though if you asked her brother, he'd say she already had the crazy part taken care of long ago. Good thing her brother's not here.

It took a lot to make Anathema run away screaming. "Any advice for a new student?"

"Hmm, if you turn in to an animal for no particular reason, it's temporary and should clear up in a few days. Also apparently there are little gremlins somewhere in the school, though I've never seen them. And if dinosaurs randomly appear, it's best to stay inside."

"What do the gremlins look like?" Anathema focused in on something that would be good to know.

"They're green and kind of..." she scrunches up her nose and makes a face. "At least, they have been in pictures I've seen. They're small enough to fit in to the air vents, too."
