"It's a student who's new," John explained. "Like when you were new, and the Dean made me your fake big brother - that was newbie day last session."

"Excellent," John was pleased by her response. "You know, we oughtta find a newbie for you to torture with tales of Fandom misery.

"Oh please," John rolled his eyes. "Did you feel particularly tortured? I introduced you to cotton candy!"

"No, I was too confused to feel tortured. It was Mr. Lyman's class that felt like torture. That class would be better with cotton candy."

"Yeah, it really would," John couldn't help but agree. "Hopefully our US History class will be less painful. And if not, I promise to bring food."
