Fandom High Welcome Picnic, Front Lawn of the School, All Day: Part I

Zoe was very impressed with how well the construction people had done in rebuilding the school, and the grounds had been cleared just in time for the picnic to welcome the new students and teachers. Tables and chairs had been set up, and there was plenty of food and drinks, along with nametags, and two signs, one listing the Big Sibling/Little Sibling pairings, and another listing rooms and roommates for the new students.

[WAIT FOR THE OCD PLEASE. OCD IS UP. This is part one of the picnic, for specifically meeting siblings, roommates, and teachers. Part two is happening simultaneously here, in an effort to keep browsers from breaking for as long as possible. *g*]

"Man, I've got a roommate? Hope this Wyatt guy is a good guy," he said half-aloud, wandering the area.

Jack looked at him. "Please tell me you don't have a slide rule," he said, extending his hand. "Jack Burton.

"Slide rule?" Wyatt said, shaking the offered hand. "Big guy like you got a phobia about them or something?"

"Not me. But with a name like Wyatt I was thinking of a skinny guy with big glasses." Like the ones Jack was hiding in his duffel. "So the sheet says we're roommates."

"Hardly," Wyatt said. "My eyes are fine and I work out. So, yeah, 208. My old roommate Tannim moved out last semester so I guess they stuck you in his place."
