Aly was waiting in the Danger Shop for the class to meet though she planned on ending up being outside by the end of the session. She waited for them, looking more subdued and moving more slowly than she normally would for an explosions class. Finally once everyone arrived, she began.

"Thank you all for being a great class," she started. "It's not every day that I'm comfortably letting groups of people - students or not - play with gunpowder or work with C4 or use hand grenades like we've done over this past seven weeks. It's not been a completely fun seven weeks so thank you even more for staying focused."

"So today we have two projects. The first is the one I gave you at the beginning of the term which was to design a plan to blow up the school. If you've ~~handwavily, I assume~~ done so, we have a set up in the Danger Shop where you can place your charges and see how the plan holds up."

"Second thing is we're going to head outside to just in the Preserve and fire off some cannon." Aly grinned. "Which, okay, are basically outmoded now and entirely effective as modern weapons for this world, let alone some of the civilisations some of you come from, but they're a lot of fun, they're tricky, and they're temperamental. So it should be an interesting last exercise."

She went through a quick but detailed lecture on how to load and fire a cannon using a Danger Shop mock-up to demonstrate on.

Once the students had tried out their explosion plans and checked out the simulated cannon, Aly led them outside for practice on the real thing.

"And one last thing to you all," she said seriously after the cannons had been fired many, many times and all the shells used up. "I've enjoyed having you all in my class." Aly flashed a quick grin at Sokka and Evie ~~if they were there~~. "Even those of you who might have been more nervous than others. I like to hope you learned something and had fun, and I hope to see you in future classes I teach or in my office if you decide to visit."

Z looked around, wondering if anyone would want to partner with her on the cannons.

Bridge? Very much does. Or, at least, one would assume that from the fact that he basically tacklehugs Z.

Z sort of flinched away from the tacklehug. "Hey," she said listlessly. "What happened to your hair?"

"Dyed it green on Saturday," Bridge frowns at Z. "What did she do to you? Are you okay?"

"I'm fine," Z said.

"You are not," Bridge gives her a look. "You flinched."

"I'm fine," Z insisted. "Seriously. Just...leave me alone. We'll all be better off that way."

"No we won't," Bridge says. "What the hell *happened*?"

"Nothing happened," Z said. "She just talked."

"What did she talk about, then, that's made you upset?" Bridge asks.

"Friends. Look, it doesn't matter. You should worry about your boyfriend, I heard her call him in today."

"It *does* matter, because hey, *you* are my friend. And I am worried but there's nothing I can do right now, but *you're* here right now and you're obviously hurting even if it's not physically and I *hate* that she did that to you," Bridge says angrily.

"Why?" Z asked him.

"Because," Bridge says solemnly. "Like I said, you're my friend, and I love you, and I'm not going anywhere. Well, okay, I'm going lots of places, including over to where the cannons are so we can fire one off, but I'm not going to just leave *you*," he looks at her carefully. "And I'm not about to let you leave me either."
