There was a ~~handwavey~~ notification sent to everyone in class, to meet outside at the campfire area and to wear clothes they don’t mind getting messy. Yondaime had said there was going to be a pie fight, and he’d be damned if he wasn’t going to let that happen.

When the students arrived, Yondaime was sitting on the ground, surrounded by whipped cream pies and a huge grin on his face. “Good Morning! I’m sorry about last week, but I got kind of sick. This is our last class together, and if you’ve been paying attention to the syllabus, you know that we’re having a pie fight today, filled with good, ~~clean~~, old-fashioned fun. You’ve all been a fantastic class; it’s amazing how fast 7 weeks have flown by, I just with that we could have had more time.”

“Anyway, this is no holds barred fight. The only thing I ask is that if you have any ultra powers, is not to use them, small powers are okay though,” he smiled and spun the pie on his finger. If there aren’t any questions then the pies are all yours!” Yondaime grinned and quickly got out of the way, so as not to be trampled by students going for pies.

Faile, who had been grinning smugly at Katara, quickly threw her arms up to block the pie. But, this could not stop the cherry pie from getting all over her.

She made a small ick face and shook off some of the filling. But, she paused for just a moment to lick a bit off of a finger. "Tasty," she said.

Then, of course, she picked up another pie, chocolate silk, and threw it at Katara.

Katara tried to catch the pie this time which was only mildly successful. "No! You can't throw chocolate!" she said reverently.

Faile paused. "Why?"

"Because it's chocolate and it's the best thing ever," Katara said with a grin.

"But, why?" Faile asked. "What's so special about it?"

Katara bounced slightly. "Have you ever had it? I never did before I came here."

Faile hook her head. "If we have it at home, it is called something else."

"Oh! You have to try it! Don't you have a big sister here? She totally should have shown you this one." Katara looked around for a fork and then grabbed two spoons off the table instead. Handing one to Faile, she said, "here, try a bite. The chocolate is the brown part, and I think the white is whipped cream. It's sweet."

Faile shook her head at Katara's question. "They gave me John Sheppard," she said with a smirk. "He has been most helpful." Faile accepted the spoon and, after taking a sniff first, ate a small bite of the chocolate filling. Hey eyebrows went up. "This is very good for being such an unappealing color."

"Aww, I know John! He was my roomie's little brother when he came. I got to help." She grinned and took a spoonful herself. "Isn't it? And it comes as more than just pie like this. There's chocolate bars and chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream. Oooh, and hot chocolate. That's totally my favourite."

"Chocolate is a dietary staple here then?" Faile asked. "I've seen people eat chocolate, but it looks like mud so I've been reluctant to try it." She took another bite.

"Well, it's supposed to be a treat or a dessert, I think," Katara said. "But here it kinda is a staple. Because it tastes so, so good."

Faile smiled and took another bite. "It certainly does."
