When the flight workshop arrived at the shed, they found it locked up tight and Anakin leaning up against it.

His hands were crossed and tucked up under his robes, but that wasn't particularly unusual. Neither was the pinched, worried look around his eyes.

"Today we fly helicopters, which are waiting over at Selkie Cove" he said, voice as steady as always. "If you happen to buzz them too close to That Woman's office, well, too bad for her." He made eye contact with each student. "I graduated from this school, too, so I know that this will probably be ignored, but...the teachers are here to look after you. You know better by now than to touch live electrical cables or set yourself on fire. Our temporary...whoever...falls into the same category. Nothing is making you go into her office. So don't do it."

He lowered his voice. "Please."

He shrugged. "Plea made. Moving on. Because I can occasionally be strange, you have to wear these fetching hats as you practice your maneuvers in the helicopters. And no, you can't whine your way out of it."

"He is! He likes to attack the dip and I taught him the words to Cuban Pete and I think maybe sometimes it's all an act, that he's like that? And other times I wonder if maybe he's just weird or something? But he's still way cool. We can all sing it! It'll really tick Hades off!" Rikku clapped her hands excitedly. "And Hades is the vice-principal and his hair is on fire and when he gets mad it turns BRIGHT RED instead of blue and that's usually when we're singing. Well, when I'm singing, 'cause Animal kinda doesn't sing, he just shouts a lot. Oh! My hair was purple for a couple of weeks! Did you try dying it?! I have dye! I have more left if you wanna try again!"

And then she bounced. And squeed. Hey, it was a good day.

"I tried dye it black once, it got streaky after the first two days. By the end of the week I was pink again. It was supposed to be permanent dye, too." Anemone sulked a bit at the memory, but perked right up. "I could bring Gulliver too! He doesn't sing, but I could put a little collar with bells on it around his neck, and he can be the musical accompaniment! We'll have a parade!"

"I'll totally bring it next week! The dye, I mean! It turned my hair purple and it was purple for weeks! Maybe it'd work for you, too! Aly helped! And ooooh, who's Gulliver? And that's okay, Animal can't really sing! But he's superawesome anyway! I wonder what he looks like under all that hair!?? I have no idea what he is! It'd be really funny if he shaved all that off and was really just some short weird-looking guy and nobody knew! I kinda wish that would happen now! Him just showing up all human like HEY WHAT'S UP like it's totally normal for him, wouldn't that be hysterical?!?"

She stopped for breath. "We totally, totally, totally need to have a parade! But not until I get back!"

"Gulliver is..." Anemone looked around quickly and went over to where she had left her large bookbag on the ground. A few moments making cooing sounds into the bag, and a cute wibbly nose poked out, and two bright eyes were looking at Rikku. "That is Gulliver. He's being shy because he knows he's not supposed to come to flight class. He was sneaky and climbed in the bag when I wasn't looking."

Rikku clapped her hands, giggling, and tried to keep her squeeing as quiet as possible. "Oh! Oh! Hi there! Hi, Gulliver! You are totally adorable and you should come to class more often and can I pet you?" She looked up at Anemone. "Is it okay?"

At the word 'pet', Gulliver perked up, and a strange panda-puppy-thing ambled out of the bag towards Rikku, cooing beguilingly.

"You, sir, are shameless." Anemone waggled one finger at him, grinning. "You can pet him, he doesn't bite unless you're a biscuit covered with jam. When you come back? Are you going somewhere for the weekend? I think a parade of Cuban Pete sounds wonderful, maybe we should serenade the entire campus? I think everyone should learn about Pete."

Rikku cooed back. Because you had to. "Hi, you. You are adorable and it is okay with me if you are shameless." She scritched the top of his head. "And, uh, no, I'm just going away for a couple of days after class for boy-related reasons and I'll be back Saturday morning brght and early. Ooooh, a serenade? I wonder if Animal wants in? We should ask him! When do you want to?!?"

"Next week sometime? Like on Tuesday or Wednesday? We can just wander around singing to people. A mid-week cheery-thinggie!" Anemone started humming the tune softly. "We should totally get up on stage at Caritas and sing for everyone!"

Gulliver, meanwhile, was busy making happy purring noises at Rikku, and wiggling his nose at her in pure joy.

"That sounds awesome!" Rikku bounced excitedly. "I'm free either day! Except class first thing in the morning but that's just first thing in the morning! And we should get Animal to come, too! Last time he and I had buzzers and he had a wig and we totally sang it at Caritas but we kept messing the words up and Caritas is so great!!! But I'm not supposed to drink any more because I get reaaaaaaaaally sick when I do."

"Is it any particular kind of alcohol that makes you sick, or everything?" Anemone looked sympathetic. "We can ask Tino to make you virgin drinks. Then you can have the yummy without the sick."

"I'm free allllllll day too. I only have three class, so I have lots of free time. We shall be a traveling bad, bringing joy and music to all of Fandom!"

Rikku blushed. "It's kinda ... not the drinks, but the way I drink wayyyyy too much and then throw up the next day. Oooooooh, do they do that with fuzzy navels? Because those were sooooo good and I had a lot last time."

She clapped her hands. "That sounds perfect! Right after my Spy class, then, if Animal can come too and we'll pester people to come around and join us and maybe we give out hugs, just to tick off that crazy principal lady!"

"Tino can do anything." Anemone nodded with conviction. "He's brilliant."

"You have Spy Class?!?! Lucky!" She sulked slightly. "I get tossed in Ethics by my guardian since I 'lack basic morals,' and the rest of the school is in Spy class. There's something seriously wrong with this picture. I'm almost afraid to find out what classes he's picking for me this fall. Watch. I'll end up in Scouting or something like that."
