The students had all received a handwaved directive to attend class down at Caritas on Monday, and when they arrived they found the door to the bar ajar but the open sign not in use.

"Welcome to class, where today we will be meeting a special sort of creature," D said, smiling as everyone took a seat within the apparently empty bar (empty except for Tino, who had been modded borrowed for the occasion, that is).

"The Nac Mac Feegles, also known as Pictsies, are in some ways like those some may know as faeries or the Little Folk. In other ways, they are nothing like them." D smiled enigmatically. "Now, once they arrive, speak to them and find out what you can about their lives and their culture. Be respectful, of course, and as you leave I would like to hear two or three things you were able to learn.

"Oh, and I ask that you do not indulge in anything stronger than soda," D added. "No matter what the Feegles choose to drink, the school does rather frown on allowing students to have alcohol, especially during school hours."

Jenny spent the lecture pouting over the fact that class was being held in a bar and she couldn't drink. This, she felt, was patently unfair.

Soon, a large group of tiny blue men tumbled into the bar. Some instantly blinked out again as they attempted to brawl with each other and were transported out by the sanctuary spell.

One Feegle at the front stopped dead when he saw the students. "Bigjobs!" A couple Feegles had run into his back when he stopped and now peered over the first's shoulder.

"Wee bigjobs, aye," one replied. "Whut did ye think we'd be visitin', ye daft wee ninny?"

The first Feegle shrugged. "I'm herre fer the drinkin' an' the fightin'," he said and turned to go to the bar.

One of the Feegles was standing with his fists on his hips, slightly hunched forward, one eyebrow raised, as if trying to stare the redheaded bigjob down.

One particular Feegle signaled Tino for a drink- might handy to have someone like that there!- and said, "Ach!"

One of the Feegles seemed to glare at him. And proceeded to mumble, like his mouth was just full of so many rocks he simply couldn't hold them all in. "Yer mi' wa' clo' yer mo' 'fer th' fl's git in."
