Firearms and You #5 (Thursday, Period 2)
Once again, the students had been handwavily e-mailed and told to come to the Danger Shop. The table with the sign in sheet was there, along with two handouts. But instead of John, Sam was standing by the table, along with Dean, who was still in wolf form, to Sam's obvious concern.
"Hey guys," he greeted everyone as they came in. "So, my dad's still out being newly paternal, and Dean...can't exactly run class."
Dean stood up and leaned his front paws on the table and waved at the class with a paw.
Sam did his best to not laugh, not wanting to encourage Dean, and focused on the class again. "According to our dad's notes, he wanted you guys to work with some specialized weapons today, like fully automatic guns and long range sniper rifles." He smirked at Dean before adding, "And we figured that specialized weapons deserved specialized targets."
Dean gave a toothy grin and brought his paw carefully down on the Danger Shop remote. The target range shimmered into view complete with large person-shaped pink targets. A very specific person-shaped.
Sam grinned as well. "I'm familiar with both of these kinds of weapons, so I'll be happy to answer any questions you might have. Try them both out, and see which one you find easier to aim and shoot."
Dean barked an agreement, looking like he was trying to figure out how to shoot with his current form.
"You don't get to play with the guns today," Sam said sternly.
Dean whined.
"No guns," Sam repeated. "But if you behave yourself, I'll let you have one of the targets to do whatever you want with."
Dean looked hopeful and barked a question.
Sam laughed, having some idea of what Dean just asked. "Whatever you want to do is fine. Just don't eat the target."
"Woof."
"I'll take that as an agreement," Sam said, rolling his eyes.

saltandammo. No Umbridges were harmed in the creation of the targets, alas. ;) OCD is up!]

Re: Try out sniper weapons
So he went back to the machine guns, with a big grin on his face.
