Johnny smiled, pleased. "I'll handwavily pick you up and we'll go have pizza, maybe dance to the jukebox, and enjoy the evening. What do you say to that?"

Johnny laughed. "No, I don't blame you. Okay, dancing with me tonight it is, but I warn you, I can cut a rug." No, not really. He just liked the slow songs so he could hold the girls close.
