Accelerated Scouting: Tuesday, Period Five, Week Five
Dale has set up the main campire area to actually be... lots of little campfire areas.
There's also a heap ofmoddable food and cooking equipment sitting on the picnic tables.
"Today kids we are going to be making ourselves some dinner," Dale said with a grin. "But you are going to have to work for it."
He pointed to the fire rings around them. "You're going to cook over an open fire. A fire that you have to start without any matches, lighters, spells or what not. So come on kids! Let's see what you got!"

Of course since he was a wolf, it was debatable how much of that actually got across.

"What's that boy?" Dale asked the wolf "Did the mountie fall down a well?"

He shook his head and tried to explain again, wondering how a mountie had got involved in all of this.

Or at least it he assumed it was a human reaction. He had heard enough on the radio to know that people occasionally turned into animals around here.
"Perhaps we should try a different manner of communication," Dale suggested. "One bark will mean yes and two barks will mean no. Does that make sense?"
