Accelerated Scouting: Tuesday, Period Five, Week Five

Dale has set up the main campire area to actually be... lots of little campfire areas.

There's also a heap of moddable food and cooking equipment sitting on the picnic tables.

"Today kids we are going to be making ourselves some dinner," Dale said with a grin. "But you are going to have to work for it."

He pointed to the fire rings around them. "You're going to cook over an open fire. A fire that you have to start without any matches, lighters, spells or what not. So come on kids! Let's see what you got!"

"Hi, Agent Cooper!" Turtle gave him a small smile as she came to talk to him after class. "I'm afraid I have some bad news."

"What's wrong?" Dale said raising an eyebrow. "Does this have to do with the decrees?"

"No," Turtle shook her head. "It's my sister, sir. She's getting..." Deep breath to hold down a shudder, "married. This coming Sunday, and my parents would like me to stay home a bit while I'm there for the event, so I'll be missing class next week."

"Well congratulations to your family!" Dale said with a cheerful grin. "Make sure to take your scout handbook with you so you can keep up with class."
