Pie for Beginners - Week 5 - Monday 2nd period

“Good morning every one,” Yondaime smiled from the front of the class, showing no sign what so ever that he was worried about Deadpool being gone all weekend. “I hope everyone is feeling well and had a good week. Today we’re going to be moving away from normal dessert pies into the realm of savory dinner pies. The easiest I’ve found is called quiche, a French dinner pie that’s typically made with egg and cheese. What I’ve found though is that you can toss just about whatever you’d like into it as long as they are things that go together normally.” The grimace on his face said that he’d made some rather… noxious combinations over the weekend. “Typically that quiche is not considered ‘manly’ and so there was a time where quiche was only eaten by women. Which to me is just weird, but who knows. If you guys share your quiches fill me in on who takes more, men or women.” It really was just odd, food was food after all.

“So I’ve got a bunch of moddibleingredients on the table up front, grab what you want and work with a partner please for a great combination and I don’t care if you partner boy, girl, turtle or whatever. Also,” he added. “Please don’t forget that next week is when I want you each to bring in your own original pie recipe for us all to try. So have at it, and try not to burn the place down.”

[Plz wait for ocd. Sorry this is late but the computer lab was full on my first break.]

No worries about Umbridge's rules here. Except for the making out, no body probably wants to see that, or at least Yondaime doesn't.

It looked kinda like okonomiyaki, only as a pie. Weird. Shrugging to herself, Anemone started grabbing some random ingredients and looking around for a partner.

"Roomie power! Pie doesn't stand a chance!" Anemone bounced up and down, waving the chili peppers she had liberated from the ingredients table. "After all, we are a formidable team." She began chopping up her peppers, occasionally stopping to pop a small slice in her mouth. "Which reminds me, how did that project you were working on go?"

Talking in code? So awesome.

Evie started divvying up ingredients that were easy-- cheese, eggs-- and ingredients that required more thought. Pepperoni, possibly? Peppers? Maybe some tomatoes? Hmmm. Difficult to decide.

Pepperoni? Tomato? Peppers? Raph could definitely get into Evie's way of thinking about the quiche. He sidled over and waved slightly. "Hey. You mind... Ah... Partnerin' up with me?"

Evie blinked. Blinked again. Nodded speechlessly a moment, then found her voice. "Certainly! I, ahem. Don't believe we've been introduced? I'm Evie. Carnahan." She held out one tomato-y hand, then shook her head and wiped it off on her apron. "Excuse me for that. Messes tend to occur when I cook."

Oh, dear...Setsuna sighed; she always felt so...silly explaining this to people.

"I'm a bit...odd about eggs," she said, slowly, hoping that would be enough to explain it, because you couldn't very well just explain to a girl that you had issues with breaking them because you were most likely hatched from one and they gave you queasy feeling in your stomach.

Door eyes the possible ingredients with a bit of hope - at least she doesn't have to attempt flaky with this. And while it's not exactly the sort of meat pie she's cooked in a campfire before, it does seem... less daunting.

There was a small cheetah cub sitting there, staring at Yondaime. Not threatening, mind you, just... there.

He was attempting to use hereto unknown psychic powers to let the professor know he had an excuse for not doing the quiche.
