"Yeah... I know what you mean. I've already done one and have another to go. I caught a lucky break last week with the zombie invasion and it was cancelled. I don't think I'll be that lucky this weekend."

Really! You'll be at detention this week! That's great! Oh well, I don't mean, great, great, but I heard rumours you're a... *stops and carefully rephrases what she'd originally planned to say* a really tough guy. And I know I'd feel a lot safer in detention if I knew someone like you was going to be there with me.

Marty gives Lana a small smile. He noticed the hesitation and wondered what other rumors were flying arounda bout him.

"Well it's not exactly the Breakfast Club, but I don't think you'll have too much to worry about. It all depends on who is running detention. I'm just hoping Connor doesn't take what I did in Study Hall last week personally."

"I... uh don't want to worry you but... You know that the last time they did detention, Dream had everyone go through their worst nightmare repeatedly. It wasn't exactly pleasant."

I knew the last time was bad. I guess I just thought maybe it had been something people could help each other get through.
