Comparitive Religions

Well, I suppose that it would be time for class...

who would like to talk about Hinduism tonight?

Did everyone hear about that?

The sutra: "Lead me from ignorance to truth, from darkness to light, from death to immortality" sounds very, very familiar to me. It's almost exactly like what I use every day in my own meditations.

Hinduism, and indeed, many of the Eastern religions we've studied so far, remind me of a grammatically challenge green alien of my acquaintance of what I've been taught to associate with the Force.

Because...immortality. Is there a way to become immortal? Is there something at the end of it all. Everything dies. Stars, suns, planets, people oh, the people. Mom, are you still alive?.

*shakes head* It's an impossible creed to live up to.
