Construction Site: Thursday August 2nd, all day

The "Safety First" signs are still around - in fact, Xander's added one on neon green posterboard. It doesn't have the Mr Harris says part, though.

In the background, the heavy construction guys are putting some of the finishing touches on the supporting walls - it really is looking like a school again, with just smaller room divisions and cosmetic things like... well, doors and windows for a start, for the graduate workers to attend to.

"Today we're hanging doors, guys. Not people named Door though. For the record, in case there's any squirrels listening. Just the kind with hinges and knobs."

Hey look, some of these rooms already have doorframes! That would be because you built them, a while back. Now they just need doors. Hang them well.

As usual, there's a table set up away from the danger zone for workers and guests to eat.

To eat at. Do not eat the table.

Okay, so door-hanging is not precisely sweaty shirt-removing work, but that doesn't mean you can't watch.

He is here. In a neon-green helmet to match the new sign.

Can it be naptime yet?

"There's hallways now!" Bridge remarks cheerfully as he approaches via one, lunch from Luke's in hand. Yes, it has been a while since he's been by the construction site.

"Some of them even have ceilings!"

Bridge glances upwards, as if he's double-checking this statement. "Hey!" he says. "They do!" he gives Xander a thumbs up. Bridge's enthusiasm at the existence of ceilings should hardly be a surprise. This is Bridge, after all. He's kind of enthusiastic about *everything*.

"And you're about three inches away from bouncing off it. What's with the extra pep today - still celebrating my non-arrestyness?"

"Well it's worth celebrating, isn't it?" Bridge says. "I like being with you, but not if 'being with you' means 'carrying you in my pocket because you are in tiny card jail'. And also I know I told you this before, but, I so told you they wouldn't do that to you."

Stark was there and hoping his doors would not end up crooked.

While Stark may have been slightly unhinged, he was making sure the doors were not.

Andrew stopped by the construction site and stared. He was pretty much completely lost in his own thoughts.

If any of that staring happened to be in Xander's direction, there would be glaring from *Bridge's* direction.

Xander noticed, and eventually wandered over ~~possibly after Bridge finished glaring~~. "Hey. I take it your microwave didn't burn down the dorms?"

It took Andrew a moment to remember what Xander was referring to, "Oh! Nope, it was all good. I had, um, actually taken the mug out and, you know, unplugged the microwave, so it was all good."

"How goes the eye training?"

Andrew definitely noticed the glare from Bridge, and tried to be much more careful about where his eyes wandered.

Bridge nods approvingly at that, though if he had a Sharpie on him he might be tempted to write something on Xander's forehead. Eventually he actually wanders over to where Andrew is standing.

"Hey," he says conversationally.

Andrew is easily intimidated by glaring. He glances at Bridge but doesn't make anything close to eye contact, instead focusing on a rather not interesting pile of construction material.

"Hello."

"Bridge Carson," Bridge says, sticking out one gloved hand.

Andrew cleared his throat, still only glancing at Bridge as he took his hand.

"Andrew Wells. Very nice to meet you," he said, clipping his words.

"No seeing through locker room walls yet," Xander answered with a sigh.

"You know," Andrew started, "they make these microscopic cameras now that you can hide virtually..." his voice faltered a little bit, "...anywhere. I, um, I had to do research on spy cameras for Professor Stinson." Andrew winced.

"Andrew?" Bridge blinks. "Oh, hey, *that* Andrew. Hi."
