Accelerated Scouting - Week 4 - Tuesday, Period Five

"Good afternoon Campers!" Dale said cheerfully. "For those of you keeping track you have not only earned your Second Class rank you've also received your First Class rank as well. You should be proud of yourselves. After completing these ranks, you should be adept at participating in all of the activities in the Boy Scout program. You are all literally First Class Scouts.

"I doubt it," Peter replied. "Bringing someone in to interfere wouldn't have solved anything. With all due respect, sir, I apologise that you feel we acted inappropriately, but it was a valid plan that saved the life of our friend and I won't apologise for that."

"It was a dangerous plan," Roy corrected, "but I'm sure the principal already lectured you all on it and if she didn't change your mind, then I highly doubt I have a chance to."

"You're probably quite correct," Peter said. "And I would like to point out that the Stickbugs actions followed the main thrust of your presentation today. We did not worry about heroics and just protected those around us. Unless you don't feel that mere 'students' have the right to do that?"

For some reason Roy already hear Aly's reply. "I spent a lot of my career trying to prevent mere students having to deal with anything like this," he replied. "If I can avoid it, I will."
