Yondaime was back in class today, looking chipper and friendly as usual. “Hello everyone! Good morning! I’m sorry for my absence last week, but I was undeniably delayed due to an overly…. insistent relative at home. I hope that Professor Deadpool was able to help everyone with last weeks topic but if there were any problems please see me and we’ll work them out.”

He reached down to the floor and picked up a large bushel of apples, a small basket of berries, and another of peaches. “So this week we’re doing fruit pie fillings. I have apples, berries and peaches for you to choose from but of course just about any fruit can be made into a filling. The recipes and ingredients needed for the fillings you will find on your tables a long with pre-made frozen pie crusts. We’re using pre-made crusts for these lessons just because it would take too long to do the filling and crust in one class. Deadpool mentioned to me that some of you objected, to them before but if you wish you may make several crusts to use for the various classes to bring in.” He picked up an apple and tossed it back and forth in his hands.

“So barring the return of any puppets,” he paused, glancing around fearfully for a moment before continuing. “I’d like you all to work in partners, avoid certain dreaded words regarding crusts and we’ll see what kind of pies we can come up with by the end of class!”

Evie's eyes get rounder, and then she chortles too, turning pink. "Would we receive a better or worse grade for that? And we'd have to eat it before anyone else saw it." She blinks. "Hmmm." Then giggles again, before sprinkling the apples with more cinnamon.

"I suspect we'd have received a better grade for it, if Professor Deadpool were teaching the class again."

"That's true," Evie decided. "Since it probably qualifies as, um. Giving him pornography. Wouldn't it?"

"One good turn deserves another..." Door snickers. "Not that Professor Deadpool would ever give a student pornography."

"No, no. Mr. Deadpool would never do that. Certainly not during Driver's Ed," Evie giggles, putting more fruit in their pre-made pie crust. "There would be no real reason!"

"Of course not. It's not as if his students would ever harass him into oing so just to get them to shut up. We're far too nice for that."

"And well-behaved," Evie points out. "And considerate! And law-bading, and not likely to use pornography to bribe police officers. And ooo, should we add peaches to this with the apples?"

"Dare we?" Door asks, already reaching for the peaches.

"It would make it more tart," Evie says seriously. "So I believe it's a must."

"It certainly needs to be as tarty as possible!"

"Apple-peachy tarty pie," Evie said very solemnly. And grinned as she put the pastry top on, carefully carving a winking eye into the pastry before handing ot over to Door.

Door grins and grabs a paring knife - in slightly less danger of cutting her own fingers off than Evie - to add a pair of kissy lips to the pie-crust.

Evie gave Door a thumb's up. "And now. To burn it! Or bake it. If there's a miracle."

"Perhaps if we watch it very carefully and don't get distracted by anything?"

Hahahahahahahaha.

"Maybe!" Evie said hopefully. "It could be our crowning tarty achievement!"

Hehehehehehehehe.

Door slides it carefully into the oven. "Or at the very least perhaps it'll be edible. By humans."

"And if not, it's very good art," Evie pointed out. "And could be a conversation piece."

"For a conversation about how I can't cook!" Door agrees.
