On the good side... the library is open

Krycek nods, perching on the edge of a sturdy table in deference to his possibly sprained ankle. "Found three or four maps that might work. If it's okay, we'd like to let Professor Jerusalem make the final decision and we'll bring back the rest."

Jake's taken up mumbling to himself while leaning against Krycek and sprawling somewhat across the table. But at least he's quiet, for the moment. Krycek turns a little and, reaching into Jake's pocket, pulls out Spider's library card.

S'fine by me. Did you find Julian? *looks them over as she checks out the maps* Wow, you two look rough. Maybe you should go by the clinic?

"Didn't see anybody, no," he says, shifting uncomfortably. "And yeah, I might. He'll be fine though, he just needs coffee." Krycek rubs at a smudge on his cheek, thinking about how he can bribe Jake to never ever speak of what happened.

Hang on, by this point he must be going absolutely starkers. *dashes into the librarian's office, and returns with a cup of black coffee* Don't ever tell anyone I did this. Especially not Professor Methos.

*gives the pair a tiny knowing library aide smile* Thank you and have a nice day.

Jake sat up even before Zero emerged from the office, breathing in deep to catch the hint of coffee smell. He takes the cup with a small mewl and large soulful eyes, thanking Zero even as he downs the first sip. Jake pauses on the swallow, closing his eyes to fully relish the taste.

Krycek watches Jake and smirks as the other man relaxes finally. "I like coffee, but at least I'm not a fiend for it." He snickers, tugging at Jake's collar again to get his attention. "Thanks a lot though. Appreciate the help." Giving her a grateful look, he stands and grabs the maps before dragging Jake up off the table to stagger out of the library together.


(OOC: Unfortunately, Jake's being NPCed as his player had to go to bed. But thank you on behalf of Krycek's sanity!)
