Library - Plodderpalooza [07/21]

The library was open on a Saturday and there were no dinosaurs in sight. The library was, however, mildly decorated for the Plodder event. Additionally, there was Plodder-themed candy, some pumpkin pasties and pumpkin juice available. A sign was up in clear view.

Welcome Plodder Fans!
* Books are not to leave the library, but you're welcome to stay and read.
* Four hour reading shifts, then hand it over to someone who's waiting.
* If you put your copy down, you lose it.
* If you spill anything on the books, it's going on your school account.
* Don't get in the way of the library staff. We're still working.

The library was still a bit messy.

Releases of Barry Plodder were one of the few times that Willow wasn't the only one who was excited about reading a book. So even though she had her own copy, she went down to the library to read it.

Aravis was bored and out wandering. (Without her crutches, for those of you playing at home, as her leg did feel better.)

She entered the library, thinking that maybe there'd be something for her to read and thus alleviate the boredom, but paused at the sign. "What's this?"

"No, I understand that, but why do you need guidelines? It's...a book."

Aravis raised her eyebrows. "Must be quite a series."

"Are the books actually any good?"

"Might be worth it to see the fuss," Aravis mused. "I suppose it's best to start with the first of the series?"

Anne had gone down to the library in hopes that it would be a much more peaceful and less nerve-wracking experience than her last visit there, and couldn't help being intrigued by the sign. Were these books really that interesting?

Ten minutes later she had a stack of not the seventh book, but the first six, in front of her on the table and was working her way through them with an enthralled expression and an eager will.

Will slipped into the library, and eagerly grabbed a copy of the book. It had been a while since she'd read the first six, but she still got into the story quickly.
