Once again the class was in the Danger Shop, which was set up to look like a target range again. There was coffee and donuts on the table with the sign in sheet as well as another handout.

"Good morning," John said, putting down his own cup of coffee. "Today we're going to be looking -- and trying out -- various sorts of handguns." He talked at some length about the various types and advantages and disadvantages, covering the information that was in the handout.

"But enough talking," he said finally. "What you're all here for is to get to actually try them out for yourself. So please step up to one of the open spots on the target range. Like last week, the computer will provide whatever gun you ask to try -- as long as that gun falls under the category of handgun and is a projectile -- not energy -- weapon. If you're comfortable with a certain type of handgun, try something different. I'll be around to each of you to observe and give advice and suggestions as I feel are needed. And if you have any questions, feel free to ask. Please remember the gun safety rules we talked about last week and follow them; failing to do so will earn you detention." John looked around at the students and gave a boyish grin. "So, shall we begin?"

Oh, like Anders wasn't going to take advantage of coffee and donuts? He was totally chowing down over there by the signin sheet. Making an effort to be quiet about it, granted, but still. Chowing down.

Savannah was taking notes.

Setsuna carefully listened and made note sin Japanese in the margins of the handout.

Charlie barely got to sleep the night before, after all that Jolt and candy, so yeah, that coffee's helpful, even though she's still jittering a little.

Dean looked over at her and snickered. "I did warn you."

Charlie stuck out her tongue at him, and it turned into another yawn. "You did, but I think it was already too late. Gahhh." She shook her head, hard, trying to focus. "Anything I need to know about this gun that's peculiar to Brownings?"

Prue grabbed a coffee and took careful notes.

DONUT. DO-NUT.

Sokka was quite definitely chowing down on more than his fair share of the food.
