Dale is dressed in full scouting regalia and in a very chipper mood as he sits at the main campfire sipping his coffee.

Apparently tussling with Dinos agrees with him

Sick bastard.

"Good Afternoon campers! I hope you remembered to wear comfortable shoes because we're going on a hike today. And not just any hike..."

Dale gestured to a stack of backpacks and camping equipment.

"We're going fully loaded. Why? Well you never know what you might need on a hike. So pack up your back with items you believe you might need and then lets get a move on. And for next week's class I'll need you to bring a swimsuit and report to the school pool."

Then Dale pointed to a collection of canteens. "It's going to be a hot one today, so make sure to stay hydrated."

But before we begin our hike, I'm proud to announce that all of you have achieved the rank of Tenderfoot. From what I've heard on the radio you've all been pretty busy, and I'm happy to pass out the following merit badges to all of you.

And somewhere around the trail there appeared to be a gathering of small animals.

The appeared to be dressed in tuxes and evening gowns and a glittery ball hung from a tree.

Apparently the DJ Chipmunk has not appeared and the woodland creatures are unable to shake their furry booties.

Despite having fought off a dinosaur over the weekend, Johnny was still seriously impressed to see a bunch of chipmunks standing around in formal wear. Did they actually make outfits that tiny? And was that a disco ball?

He knelt down next to the trail to get a better look at the group.

The animals all looked at Johnny with a forlorn look on their faces. One of the chipmunks tried to hum a tune and dance but everyone just became wall flowers and ignored him.

Maybe Johnny could play a tune from his radio for them?

Oh, they were so adorable, with those huge pleading eyes. How could anyone say no?

Johnny pulled the earbud out of his ear, took the radio out of his pocket, and set it on the ground underneath the disco ball. He turned the volume up as high as it would go so that the music could be heard at a distance, and tried to find a station that would work for a bunch of chipmunks in formal wear. Top 40, maybe?

" 'S that good, little guys?" he asked them, feeling a little silly about doing so.
