Is he having a seizure? John wondered when Wells' face got all squinched up. Assuming food consumption resumption meant Wells wasn't choking, John shook his head and turned back to his own food.

Andrew breathed a sigh of relief when John finally turned back around. Maybe he should say something... take it to the next level.

John wondered if Wells was trying to get his attention with the cough. He fought the urge to turn around again and focused on his pudding and fries.

Andrew thought John cut a nice profile. He wanted to see it again, but without the staring -- from John, that is. He began to sing softly, unsteadily, while munching on fries and looking off into a corner of the room:
