Pie for beginners - Monday July 9th - 2nd Period

The class was ~~handwavily~~ given notes to meet in the Danger Shop for class. There they would find that it was set up a lot like the old home economics class, with long table desks in the middle and cooking area’s on the side.

Yondaime stood at the front of the class next to a television and smiled nervously to everyone once they were seated. “Good Morning! And Welcome to… uh… pie class! I'm your teacher Yondaime. Obviously this is a class about pie and how to make it! We’re going to be going over pie crusts, fillings and at the end of the term we’re going to have a contest between all of you for your own original pie recipe.”

Did it seem like he didn’t know what he was doing? “But first! Let’s start off with introductions, and then we’ll watch a film about pie crusts which will get us ready for next week’s class.”

"Okay, so I'd like to go around the class with your name, age, favorite pie and something interesting about yourself."

No, he wasn't giving information about himself away, it was uh... un ninja-ly!

Setsuna Sakurazaki

Un ninja-ly, huh? Yet, would he allowed Setsuna to use that excuse to get out of this?

"Um, hello," she bowed her head to the class a little. "My name is Setsuna Sakurazaki; I am sixteen years old. I don't really have a favourite kind of pie, although I suppose apple is very nice. And something interesting, umm..."

Well, the wings thing was getting old. She tried to think quick. Setsuna held out her right arm a bit, pointing to the pink half-circle of a scar there. "And just two weeks ago, this part of my arm was severed so that, you see this line here? It was all separated, just sort of hanging there from a sword wound."

She facepalmed. Oh, yeah, everyone wanted to hear all about that, right before eating pie, surely. At least she didn't mention how much it bled and how you could actually touch all the muscle inside, and....

Setsuna quickly just sat the heck down, and then clunked her forehead down on the table.

Bart Allen

Seely Booth

Bart waved at the class as he was not a ninja at all and had no excuse to get out of the exercise. Dang it.

"Hi, I'm Bart Allen. I'm um..." He had to pause and think about that for e second. "...fifteen? and my favorite pie, I don't know. I've never had pie before. And something special about me is that I've been all the levels of BOOM in an hour."

Puppets! Boxing puppets! Bart wanted to know if they had those at T&C.

Yup. They did. Now he found something to do ~~all the time~~ when work was slow,

Carmela Rodriguez

"My name's Carmela Rodriguez, I'm seventeen, and um... my favourite kind of pie is lemon meringue. As for something interesting? I can talk to electronics, and... most of the time they do what I ask."

Liz Sherman

"I'm Liz Sherman," Liz said, "I'm 15 and I don't actually have a favourite type of pie," since the only really interesting thing about her was that she could create fire, she decided that she would just stick with that as being something interesting about her, "I create fire," she produced some flames in her right hand and then after a few seconds the flames were gone.

Raphael

Looking less than enthusiastic about introducing himself, he did it nonetheless. "I'm Raphael. Uhm, I guess Pizza pie is my favorite." He was pretty sure you could count pizza.

"As for something interesting... If you couldn't already tell, I'm a mutated turtle, and a ninja. I'm guessin' that's interesting to some people." By now, he was pretty sure even blind people knew these things about him, but everything else would have taken too long to explain. Really, short and sweet was all you needed, right?

Oh, a film. Oh good. Maybe he could catch up on his sleep.

Or so he thought. . .

Raphael gaped at the film. His favorite part was anytime the puppets punched the guy in the head. He could certainly sympathize. He'd almost sympathize with the food processor lady, but her acting wasn't that convincing.

Was this Alton Brown guy for real? Later, he'd find Donnie, and after thoroughly beating him he'd recommend his brother watch Good Eats. It seemed like his kinda thing.

Not that I disbelieved you when you said there were 'puppets'... but... That is so not what I was expecting! *Dead*

*Whispers* Kry takes issue with Alton's nostrils.... I was too busy watching puppets to notice...

Upon review.. his nostrils are rather ... obvious... O_O; I could drive a semi in one and out the other, dude... Seriously...

Pam Beesly

"I'm Pam," she said with a little wave. "I'm sixteen, I like apple pie, and I...um, am from Pennsylvania."

Maybe she was in a room full of people who would think that was really interesting.

"I'm Seely Booth, and my favourite kind of pie is fresh hot apple with vanilla ice cream. The good kind, not soft serve." Not that he needed to be that specific, really. "But, really, I just like all kinds of pie."

Katara

"I'm Katara," she said with a grin. "I'm sixteen, and I just started working at the clinic. So when people get their arms almost cut off-" she glanced at Setsuna. "The should come see me."
