There was a more subdued happy bounce over teaching teenagers how to be mercenaries today. It was the last class period after all. That might explain the large selection of pastries laid out for the consumption of the students. When they all arrived, Deadpool started his lecture.

"I hope you all had fun on the trip and finally got all that paint off. And also? Two thumbs up for excellent paint fighting skills!"This was, of course, accompanied by the mentioned gesture. "Today is a sad day, however, as it is the last day of this class. Yes, yes, I know. Tears and rending of garments all around. But don't worry kids, you'll find a way to move on with your lives. And maybe, just maybe, you'll be able to use these skills for important things."

Pause.

"Like hiding embarrassing things in your friends apartment so they won't find them until an inopportune moment. Which I haven't at all and you can't say I did!"

Oh yes, there was something shifty going on there, but then again, when wasn't there something shifty with Deadpool?

He grinned at them, bouncing a little again. "I'm going to miss this class! I hope to see you all again in the fall! Enjoy the food!"

Which was, yet again, less a lecture and more a strange tangent about things that don't necessarily make sense.

Not even poisoned food!

Mel really didn't pay attention. She was gobbling the free food.

Setsuna might have been listening with...mild amusement. At least a small grin on her face, though, which was saying something.

Setsuna nibbled modestly here and there, secretly thankful there wasn't a last-class assignment. If there were, she'd want to put as much as she could into it, but wouldn't be able to with her wound.

Toward the end of class, before heading back to work, Setsuna went to go speak with Deadpool. "I never really did get a chance to think you," she said, rather...surprised by how easily she said it, but, hey, she figured she should.

And that just totally threw Deadpool. "I had nothing to do with the lesbianism on the radio--wait what?"

Well, there went that rare moment of composed gratitude. "What lesbianism on the radio?" Setsuna demanded, after flailing.

One armed. Didn't want to aggrivate the wound even more than she did this weekend.

Gavin Darklighter

Gavin so wasn't mentioning that he still had some paint in places that could be hidden by clothing. Stupid paint.

"Some kid called my other minion a lesbian and I just wanted to be clear that I had nothing to do with it."

Seely dug in. Yay food!

Setsuna's palm met her face with a groan. "I stopped listening to radio a while ago; the broadcasters on a whole need to just stop being so concerned with everyone's sexual orientation. It isn't even logical that a girl who's had nothing but boyfriends and only a few incidents with another girl should be labeled as such in a fashion that would follow her throughout subsequent broadcasts. The person I'm dating now doesn't even turn into a girl, so maybe now this can all be put behind everyone..."

There was a pause. "Except that one time."

"But that doesn't count."

Hey. He brought it up! A rant was totally in order here.

Deadpool paused and looked around the room to see if there were squirrels nearby.

"Okay. Doesn't count. Gotcha."

There was a small glower his way as Setsuna crossed her arms over her chest and fumed a little bitterly. "Anyway, I know there's a reason I came over here other than to discuss that." Only that had so efficiently distracted her and threw her into a tizzy to the point where she'd forgotten what it was.

"Okay then." Deadpool paused. "What the hell are you thanking me for?"

"Oh! That's right!" Setsuna said, opening her mouth as if ready to go into it, but then pulling back with a frown. "Now I'm not so sure I want to."

"Good, because that might very well throw off the delicate balance of the earth."
