Anakin didn't apologize for his behavior, you know, ever.

But he was noticeably more calm than he'd been the week before as the class met in the Danger Shop ~~like he'd totally emailed them about, really~~.

"Today we're going to try something a little different," he said quietly, pointing to two motorcycle-esque machines hovering before him. "This is a swoop bike," he said, pointing to one, "and the one on the left is a speeder bike, the slightly newer model, which is also equipped with a laser cannon. Don't use the laser cannon, please. Both fly like the motorcycles of your world drive, but can get up to 400 kilometers an hour. That being said, you will be wearing helmets --" fortunately for the class, much more attractive than the Nubian ones from the previous week, "--and there are two different scenarios based on your level of skill. One is a desert planet with nothing to hit. The second is a forest moon with trees hundreds of meters tall."

He gave Luke a small smile. "Please don't hit a tree and explode. There'd be paperwork. Next week, we'll be meeting at my shuttle and doing some actual space flight. If you hurt my ship, I'll be unhappy. If you demonstrate today you don't have the maturity to fly responsibly, you won't be asked to come along." He stared hard at each student. "Questions?"

Isabel had thought and flailed and thought some more before finally coming to conclusion that she did owe Johnny an apology. "Hi Johnny," she said, flashing him a smile.

He smiled back because hers was so infectious, "How you doing?" Yes, he was going to try to avoid the issue as long as he could.

"I'm good," Isabel said, blushing a bit. "How about yourself?"

"Pretty good," he said, running a hand back through his hair. "So, I um, am taking off for the week. Heading out tomorrow."

"That's funny, so am I," she replied. "Just for the weekend though. Up to New York. Are you going anywhere fun?"

He leaned close to her and whispered, "I'm headed to DC for a Supercross convention. I'm kind of skipping out on everything next week." He paused, leaned back and asked, "What are you going to New York for?"

"You bad boy! Skipping out like that," Isabel teased. "Peter Petrelli's going to play tour guide for a few of us. Except for one trip a few weeks ago to rescue a friend from the CIA, I've never been there. It should be fun."

She ducked her head and pushed back her hair. "Listen, when you get back, I think I owe you an explanation and an apology. If you're interested that is?"

"I can't help it, it's Supercross here! It will be sooo sweet! I'm going to perform which is ten times sweet!"

Johnny remembered Peter very well. "Peter eh? Cool. You should like New York, It's where I'm from." Peter. Hmm. Johnny was sure he could show Isabel a better time.

He looked down and shrugged a single shoulder, "Well, uh, no no Isabel...you don't need to apologize. But...we'll talk when I get back, okay?"

"Ah, I see the allure now. Good luck. Bring back a video if you can. I'd like to see it," she said sincerely.

"Maybe, maybe not. But the least I can do is feed you," Isabel told him. "It's what I do for friends. Which we are? Right?"

He grinned at her, "Will do."

Johnny cocked his head, "Feed me? I could go for that. And Isabel, we are working our way towards great friends. I hope." He added the last rather softly.

Isabel smiled warmly. "No hoping necessary. You're a nice guy Johnny. I'd be glad to call you a friend."

"Thank you, Isabel. That means a lot to me," he returned her smile.

"Good. And it looks like Anakin's free, so I'm going to go talk him. Have a safe trip," she smiled. "I'll see you in a week."
