And now Bridge is just reshelving returned books, as well as prepping the library for closing, since he's got another workshop next period.

"Briiiiidge," Z called as she entered the library. "I'm bored. Entertain me."

"Zeeeeee," Bridge calls back. "Um. I could balance a book on my head?"

"Can you really?" Z asked doubtfully, eyeing his hair.

"Whaaaat?" Bridge asks, catching the look. "I can so!"

"Well, let's see it, then," Z prompted him.

Bridge mock-glares at Z before grabbing the closest book and plopping it on his head. Unfortunately it's a rather large softcover, so it slides off after about two seconds.

"Not. A. Word." He tells her as he leans down to pick up the book.

Z looked perfectly innocent at him. "I didn't say anything."

Bridge looks accusingly at her. "You were so totally thinking it," he says.

"But I didn't say anything!" Z protested.

"Give me another book. A hardcover." Bridge sighs.

Z grabbed the nearest hardcover book. War and Peace. "No, I don't want to smush your skull..." She picked out another, slimmer volume. "Here you go!"

"...Gee thanks," Bridge says dryly, then puts the book on his head. It stays there.

Animal and Rikku run into the library in a burst of buzzing buzzers.

For some reason Animal is dressed like Rikku.

Animal begins to shake his muppet booty to a latin rhythm as he sings...

"MY NAME IS CUBAN PETE!
ALL THE GIRLS DIG MY BREATH SO SWEET!
WHEN THEY SMELL THE CERTS BREATH MINT THEY ALL GO
CHICK-CHICKY-BOOM-BOOM!
CHICK-CHICKY-BOOM-BOOM!

"...Um." Bridge blinks, too caught by surprise to shush them properly.

Rikku is buzzing, giggling, and dancing.

"YES, SIR, WE'RE CUBAN PETE!
LET'S PLAY PINBALL AND SHOOT SOME SKEET!
ON THE BOARDWALK WE'LL ALL GO
CHICK-CHICKY-BOOM BORK BORK BORK ROCK AND ROLL!"

Okay, the giggling is kind of infectious. And it's not like there's anyone else in the library at the moment to be bothered by the noise. So Bridge finds himself kind of bouncing along with the rhythm.

"What are you two up to?" he asks with a laugh.

Animal is now dancing around Bridge trying to have Latin flair.

Instead it's Muppet Latin Flair. It's the same thing but more fuzzy.

"OUR NAME IS CUBAN PETE
OUR TEAM YOU CANNOT DEFEAT
IF YOU SING WITH US YOU MUST GO
CHICK-CHICKY-BOOM!

"I don't know the words, dude," Bridge says. "At least, I'm assuming you're a dude even though you're dressed like Rikku who is totally a girl but I'm not going to judge your lifestyle choices."

"Isn't he the best?!?" Rikku bounced excitedly. "We stopped by for lunch and sang the bork bork song but it kinda turned into Cuban Pete, too! I think he's a guy but I'm not too sure 'cause I don't think I wanna know! And you don't need to know the words you can just make 'em up! That's what we do!"

"YES SIR WE'RE CUBAN PETE
TRICK OR TREAT AND YOU SMELL OUR FEET!
GIVE US CANDY OR GO
CHICK-CHICKY-BOOM BORK BORK BORK!"

"Want me to give it a try?" Bridge asks.

"SING SONG! SING SONG!" Animal demanded.

"I guess that's a yes," Bridge bounces, and then after a moment of thinking, clears his throat and begins:

"HEY THERE I'M CUBAN PETE
AND ALL THE LIBRARY IS IN FOR A TREAT
BECAUSE NOW I'M GONNA GO
CHICKY-CHICKY BOOM!"

"Very nice, senor!" Rikku buzzes a few times for good measure, and then claps a hand on her mouth, giggling. "Oh! We, uh, shouldn't be buzzing in here, should we?"

Bridge looks around shiftily. "Normally I'd say yes?" He says. "In fact I'd have to shush you like so..." he makes a shushing motion. "But... there's no one but us here right now, so you can buzz for a bit if you want."
