Arts & Crafts 5, Tuesday Afternoon

"Today we're going to work on sculpting. Now, clay is all well and good, but I thought we'd try something a little more malleable and forgiving. Also, with a wide range of colors." This would be why there were stacks of cans of Play Doh on the tables. "Some of you will be familiar with this product; for those of you who aren't, please put the Play Doh back in the cans when you're finished with it. It doesn't dry out extraordinarily well, though if you want to keep your sculpture you're welcome to try. Anyone fighting over colors will be sent to time out like a three year old. Have fun!"

Carmela, who is working on Play-Doh representations of her friends, realises that it's a little difficult to sculpt a plant-based alien without some green. So she wanders over in Mikey's direction.

"I'll trade you some green for some, uh... orange?" she says, holding up a ball of orange Play-Doh.

Animal makes a figurine of what appears to be a man shaped type person in the colors of red and yellow.

When he's done he decides the play doh smells good so he starts eating the figurine starting at the head.

Look! Little Play-Doh swords! And then little Play-Doh samurai to use the very ineffective swords. Including a drama that Setsuna was playing out in her head, where, disgraced by the ineffectiveness of his sword, one samurai attempted to commit seppuku, but, because his sword was made of Play-Doh, could not accomplish it and had to live the rest of his life as a shamed ronan, cursing the name of Play-Doh and planning to exact his revenge.

Raph was having a little trouble, as with most things in this workshop. Eventually he made a multicolored life-sized sai.

Johnny chose blue, then he started to roll out super thin lines and connect them all to make a man. A limp, stretchy man with a super big head.

"Look? It's Reed. The worlds dumbest smart guy which can now be contributed to limp as well. Limpy Reed. That's his new name. I like it."

Will ended up with a can of pinkish-purple Play-Doh. She started making weetiny horses out of it, and drawing little pictures on their sides with her fingernail.

After doing this a few times, it started to look like the ponies were doing some kind of promenade across the table.

Charlie pounded out the yellow Play Doh like a pancake, then stared at it a bit, before making handprints in it that could be mistaken for turkeys, after she draws little heads on the thumbs.

Then she got bored and modeled little skulls around her fist, and put in little blue pebbles of Play-Doh for teeth.

Naminé first took some of the yellow to fashion a star-shaped charm, and then white and blue to make a tiny mask. The red she was turning into a ladybug. After that, she wasn't sure.

So, Johnny is totally going to be skipping class next week in favor of a Supercross sports event held in DC. He can get detention for this yes, if Rogers is so inclined.

His mun, on the other hand, is going on vacation! Woot!
