When the students wander up to the main campfire today, they'll notice two very large boxes and several bunches of pink and blue balloons. For now, John ignores those.

"Welcome back," he said, "and I hope you're all enjoying being back in the dorms. Nice to have walls and doors again, isn't it?"

"Today's class is going to be pretty straightforward," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Today, we're going to start rumors."

John loved rumors. Especially if they were about someone else. "Pair up or, if you'd like, talk to me, and tell me a rumor about a teacher. Any teacher. If it's a good enough rumor, I'll mention it next Monday on the radio. Rumors are good for annoying people for a few reasons. One, unless someone rats you out, it's hard to pinpoint blame. If I started a rumor about Deadpool being married, which isn't a rumor by the way, and it got around to ten or fifteen of you, it would still be hard for Deadpool to figure out who started the rumor. Two, rumors can be as extravagant as you'd like. You could tell someone that Ares was really a furry robotic chipmunk. Here, people would believe you! And there are other reasons but the first two are the important ones."

Pausing, he wondered if Ares was, in fact, a robotic chipmunk. "So, start a rumor. About me or about another teacher and spread it around the classroom. This week's homework is a special one though. See those boxes and those ballons?" He pointed at the aforementioned boxes and balloons. "For homework this week, I'd like you to dig through those boxes and pick one out of the ugliest pieces of ~~moddable~~ maternity clothes you can find. And then take a bunch of balloons. You can then choose either Principal Zoe or Aly to go find and give the clothing and balloons to. Wish them well in their pregnancies and tell them John sent you!"

"And don't forget to turn in your homework if you took on a different persona last week," John reminded them.

[OOC: Homework can be handwavily done, as always. Today's homework assignment has been approved by both Zoe and Aly. Thank you kindly to the both of them. As always, tell the teachers John sent you and you won't get in trouble. Teachers? John is around here to be threatened, yelled at or chased in the appropriate thread. Have fun!]

Rikku made faces at the squirrels ~~and added the label~~ and then took a deep breath. "I want to start something. Aly's gonna help, and I know a couple people, and we need you in on this, too."

She leaned in, dropping her voice. "Prank club. Secret society. Promoting mischief, chaos, and anarchy."

He heard the name Aly and briefly thought he was going to get ambushed by people he'd annoyed but relaxed almost immediately.

"Prank club?" Now he was interested. "A secret society of pranksters? That's all you had to say. I'm in."

Rikku bounced. "Awesome! I don't know if we can ... if this is gonna ... I just really want to get something together, you know? The mutinies were great but we were supposed to get caught, and there are so many people here that ... I'm sure we could get a group together and make things crazy in no time. Totally secret and ... oh man."

She clapped her hands, squeeing a little. "I don't even know where to start but I've got you and Aly and a couple friends and ... that's something, right?"

"Aly's a good adult to have in on it," John said. "She's tricky for being old. And that's totally something. Some of the best mayhem can be caused through the hard and diligent work of a few."

"Plus, fewer people, less chance of it leaking. I mean, if this gets big, I want it to be only a little bit at a time, you know? And ..." She blushed a little, scuffing her toes. "I know how stupid it is, but I'm just picturing, like, you know. Meeting in alleys in cloaks with code names, and designating targets, and ... doing something fun with it. Is that crazy?"

"Code names!" John lit up at that. "I've always wanted a code name!"

"Really?!?" Rikku bounced. "Me too! I thought everybody would think I was silly! That's so great!!!"

"Oh hell yes," John said. "I mean, how freaking cool were people with code names? And secret nods and handshakes!"

"I am all about the cloaks," Rikku sighed happily. "And the whole, you must tell no one, you never sell out the group, and ... oh, wow. We have to do this." And there was more bouncing. A lot.

"Oaths!" He nodded quickly. "Oath of secrecy. First rule of...whatever, you do not talk about whatever the name is."

"Yes. Oh, and that's another thing. We need a name. We don't have one." She shrugged. "I'm kinda bad at names. I mean, secret society to promote mischief and chaos, that's good, but it seems like we should have an acronym, like ... one that we could use and it'd seem innocent or whatever."

"Hm." He paused a moment. "The PET group? Prank everyone today but just say we likes pets?"

Rikku considered. "That's not bad. You think we should get everyone together, have some kind of a talk? Like, who should we recruit, how do we wanna do this, and so on?"

"Yeah, group consensus would probably be best," he said, nodding. "Our first official action!"

Rikku giggled. "I'll round up the troops and see when we can all hang out."

And then bounced her little heart out. "Oh, man. This is going to rock."

"It will," John said and did a little bouncing of his own. "Mayhem! Anarchy! Chaos! It's been so long!"

"Ooooh, you used to do more of this?" Rikku laughed. "I'm not surprised. And yeah, I mean, the mutinies were awesome, but .. you know!?"

"Oh yeah, used to do it all the time here and back home," he said. "But it fizzled out. And now it's back!"

Rikku beamed. "This is gonna be incredible."

"I thank you kindly for the invite," John said and bowed.

Rikku returned the bow, grinning. "And I thank you for lending your expertise."

"Anytime," he said. And bounced some more.
