Arts & Crafts 4, Tuesday Afternoon, A Classroom

Steve looked slightly embarrassed as he stood before the students today, a sheaf of papers in hand. "My original plan for today fell through, so we're going to do something different. You're going to make paper airplanes. Um. With David Hasselhoff's face on them. I'm not sure why." He began handing out the papers. "So, have fun with that, try not to put an eye out, and if you get bored, I also have coloring books and crayons. That should be fun. Right?" he asked hopefully. "Right."

Okay, two people down, who knew how many more to go. There really had to be an easier way to do this.

"Sir?" Haku asked coming up to him. "May I speak with you?"

"Ahh," he started nervously. He didn't want to just blurt it out like he had with Deadpool. "Well, I've realized that people may have the wrong idea about me. Including you, after the questions you asked me last week."

There, that didn't sound too suspicious...hopefully.

"Ahh, well a lot of people seem to be under the impression that I'm a girl," Haku said, hanging his head a little with a blush.

The ninja slowly shook his head with a sheepish smile. "No sir, I'm not."

"I apologize," Steve said. "I shouldn't have assumed. It just seemed like a rude question to ask." He was still concerned about Haku's home life, though.

Haku shook his head and smiled brightly. "No, it's all right. I never said anything, and... well if it helps, you're not the only one?"

Steve rubbed the back of his neck and muttered, "Yeah, but I'm supposed to be observant."

Yes, he was leaving out that the ninja was only about twelve and a complete spaz, but he was trying to make Mr. Rogers feel better!
