Arts & Crafts 4, Tuesday Afternoon, A Classroom

Steve looked slightly embarrassed as he stood before the students today, a sheaf of papers in hand. "My original plan for today fell through, so we're going to do something different. You're going to make paper airplanes. Um. With David Hasselhoff's face on them. I'm not sure why." He began handing out the papers. "So, have fun with that, try not to put an eye out, and if you get bored, I also have coloring books and crayons. That should be fun. Right?" he asked hopefully. "Right."

"I AM HERE FOR THE BIRTHDAY PARTY," Cowabunga Carl announced as he marched up to Mr. Rogers and took a deep breath, preparing to sing.

It was entirely possibly that this clarification had come a moment too late.

The turtle was dancing.

"SING ABOUT IT! WHEN YOU'RE HAPPY OR SAD, GOOD TIMES OR BAD, SING, SING, SING ABOUT IT!"

The teacher was using manners. And manners could potentially make this difficult. But not really.

Much. Kinda.

It was easier than trying the same thing around Splinter might be, anyhow.

And so, Mikey continued to dance, and held a hand out to Mr. Rogers in the hopes that he might dance along, as that is what one must do when at a party!

"MAYBE YOU'RE DOWN YOU DON'T KNOW NO-ONE AROUND! DRAGGIN' YOUR SHELL, ALL OVER TOWN?"

He had totally covered this part in Annoying Class. This surviving the threats part was a snap!

His tone changed totally, and the foamy-headed turtle switched into rap mode.

"I GREW UP WILD- PARTY WITH THE BEST OF THEM! LIVIN' LOOSE, LIVIN' LARGE, WITH MY HUMOR NOW I'M IN CHARGE!"

It was possible that the whole display had gone from hilarious to pathetic. Normally, by this point, he'd have been pummeled half to death by happy children.

Raph was sitting back, arms folded across his chest, watching all this go on.
