Construction Site [Monday]

As a new week opened, Fraser's back at the site, hard hat on his head and tool belt around his waist.

"We're making fine progress," he told the workers, "but we've still got a ways to go. Continue working, be safe and take breaks when needed. It's going to be warm today."

There were hard hats (yellow and one pink) and tool belts for the students to equip themselves with.

Ronan laughed. "I swear, I wasn't like this at all before I met you. You bring it out in me."

Ronan smiled. "Good to know we're teaching each other things, then. Growing as people. Good thing, that."

"I was wondering about the teaching bit. I know you said you bought some...um...supplies, but I was wondering if you were...knowledgeable about their use?" John might have stammered a little just cuz this was new territory for him.

Ronan paused. "... I... not so much?" He swallowed. "I was kinda hoping you were."

John made a face, "No! Well, I mean...with girls, not...you know."

Ronan chuckled a little, rather dryly. "More than I've got, then." He smiled. "We'll figure it out together, then, yah?" He turned back to watching the construction workers.

John laughed, "Yup. You like the pink hat, don't you?"

"If by like," Ronan said, grinning, "you mean 'are terribly amused by,' then yes, I am."

John grinned, "I met him the other day, he seems like a cool guy. I didn't think he'd choose a pink construction hat though."

Ronan shrugged. "Well, they do say that real men wear pink." He winked at John. "Maybe I'll have to get you a pretty pink shirt or something."

John looked at his typical black t-shirt on the ground, "I could probably use a little color in my wardrobe. I don't know if pink is my color, though."

He looked up at Ronan, "Oh, I meant to tell you! I'm starting a flag football team with Molly!"
