Library [05/24]

When Bridge had asked Sam if he could open the library for him, Sam didn't even need to think before saying yes. So, after his morning workshops, he headed to the library and took his usual spot at the computer, intent on at least trying to research who or what could be behind the recent attacks.

Sam peered around from behind the computer and smiled. "Hey. How's it going?"

"Well, thank you. Yourself?" She smiled and held out the atlas. "I wanted to return this."

"I'm surrounded by books, so I'm really good," he said, taking the atlas. "Did you have luck with this? Finding what you were looking for, I mean."

Sabriel nodded. "I did. I also found a place called Britain which looks a lot like Ancelstierre and the Old Kingdom. They look very much the same geographically, although I can't be sure about the Old Kingdom."

"I wish I could tell you about Britain, but I've never been there. I've never been anywhere outside of the country, actually, so I'm jealous of all of you who come from somewhere different."

"America seems to be very, very big though," Sabriel noted.
