As the graduates approached the remains of the school they will see that the debris has been cleared away, leaving only the rubble of the school to be seen. There's ~~moddable~~ construction equipment around the work site (nothing like forklifts and bulldozers for student use though). There are hard hats (required) for each student who is working on the job site.

Fraser's there, out of uniform (jeans and a flannel shirt) and also wearing a hard hat.

"Welcome to the first day of reconstruction efforts," he greeted them. "As you can see, there's a lot of work that needs to be done before the school can reopen. Foundation needs to be laid, bricks need to be stacked, framing needs to be put up and so on and so forth. That's why you're all here to help."

He smiled. "Please pick up your hard hats, tool belts and dig in. There's plenty of work to go around."

[Reconstruction begins! No need to get specific on what you're rebuilding. Just that you're rebuilding is enough. Visitors can have lunch with the workers should they so desire. I'm around if there are any questions.]

"You're evil and I'm telling Phoebe," Anders said promptly, but he was grinning.

"Guess I'm gonna have to find a way to shut you up then," Bel teased.

"Not in front of me," Conner yelled from the next table over. "Dude, I know where that mouth has been."

"Yeah," Bel said, looking over at Conner. "Wrapped around my --"

Anders immediately stuffed half of a sandwich into Bel's mouth. "I think he's just jealous," he muttered ~~in a blatant and shameless display of emotional self-modding~~.

Bel suddenly found his mouth full of meat. And bread, of course. He chewed and swallowed and smirked. "He should be," he said.

Conner rolled his eyes. "Oh, please. I have a girlfriend, you know."

"Funny, so do I," Bel said, still smirking.

"And I do too," Anders added, glancing between Bel and Conner and smirking as well. "Though, not your girlfriend, McKnight."

And because Conner didn't have any sense of tact (or apparently a survival instinct, in these situations), he rolled his eyes and just said, "Yeah, well, my girlfriend's better than yours."

Bel's eyes narrowed. "You did not just say that," he said quietly.

"You have got to be kidding me, McKnight," Anders added, glaring. "How frakking dumb are you, saying that to both of our faces? I cannot believe I ever dated you."

Bel twitched. He'd managed to overlook that someone else had once touched what was his. (And funny, Cally didn't inspire that same alpha male possessive feeling.) But that didn't mean he wanted a reminder right in front of him. He glowered at Conner.

"Yeah, well, that was a fluke," Conner grumbled. "And I'm sorry I ever did. Look at you, Sammy. You've turned into a total slut."

Bel abruptly got up and lunged at Conner, grabbing him by the front of his shirt. "I'm gonna kick your ass," he growled.

"For what?" snapped Conner, unwilling to back down yet (because he was dumb like that). "Calling your little pet Sammy, or calling him a slut? 'cause it's true either way."

"You definitely have a deathwish," Bel snarled, drawing back his arm, fulling intending to punch Conner in the face.

As much as Anders wanted to see Bel knock Conner out, he also didn't want to cause trouble -- frustrated as he knew Bel was lately, he was pretty sure it could end up really, really bad.

"Bel, no," he said quickly, shoving his way between them ~~hi, no, so not dirty kthx~~ and trying to tug Bel's arm down. "It's so not worth it."

Bel was still tense, but he allowed Anders to draw his arm down. "Be too easy anyway," he said, still glaring at Conner. "But you better watch your mouth, or you're gonna spend the summer on a narrow ledge over a pit of lava in the Underworld."

"It's so cute how protective you are of him," Conner said, shaking his head, but backing off. "Planning on letting him stand on his own someday?"

"Maybe," Bel said. "But I kinda want the pleasure of beating you to a pulp all for myself. I'm greedy that way."

Anders ran his hands down Bel's chest in a calming gesture. "He deserves it," he said, trying to keep his voice soothing, "but don't? Please? For me?"

"Get out of here," Bel said to Conner as he tried to relax. "Before I changed my mind."

"Yeah, sure, whatever," Conner said, sparing one extremely pitying look for Anders before he straightened his shirt and went back to his lunch.
