As the graduates approached the remains of the school they will see that the debris has been cleared away, leaving only the rubble of the school to be seen. There's ~~moddable~~ construction equipment around the work site (nothing like forklifts and bulldozers for student use though). There are hard hats (required) for each student who is working on the job site.

Fraser's there, out of uniform (jeans and a flannel shirt) and also wearing a hard hat.

"Welcome to the first day of reconstruction efforts," he greeted them. "As you can see, there's a lot of work that needs to be done before the school can reopen. Foundation needs to be laid, bricks need to be stacked, framing needs to be put up and so on and so forth. That's why you're all here to help."

He smiled. "Please pick up your hard hats, tool belts and dig in. There's plenty of work to go around."

[Reconstruction begins! No need to get specific on what you're rebuilding. Just that you're rebuilding is enough. Visitors can have lunch with the workers should they so desire. I'm around if there are any questions.]

Anders sat down beside him and stared at the table for a while, not sure whether he was more angry than he was embarrassed.

"Sorry about that," he mumbled after a few awkward minutes.

"What the hell did you see in him?" Bel demanded.

"At the time?" Anders shrugged. "I was lonely, and he was there. ~~And like fifteen people dared me, OMG.~~ It was not my best idea. Can we just forget it?"

"He better stay the hell out of my way," Bel grumbled sourly.

Anders glanced at him, then started grinning just a little bit. And blushing behind his hand.

A lot.

"What?" Bel said crankily.

"You got all protective of me," Anders said, still grinning. "That was cute."

"Cute?" Bel repeated. "Don't make me kick your ass."

"It was really nice of you," Anders said, more seriously. "I appreciate it. A lot."

"Well, you're mine," Bel said gruffly, but he ducked his head a little and smiled.

Anders slung an arm around Bel's shoulders when he caught sight of that smile. "I like being yours," he replied shyly.

"Then go find some sleeping bags and I'll show you just how much you're mine," Bel said. In the growly voice, of course.

"Do I at least get a sendoff kiss?" Anders just had to scoot a little closer to him. Growly voice for the win.

Bel glanced over at Conner, then pulled Anders closer and kissed him quite thoroughly.

Anders wrapped an arm around Bel's neck and let himself be quite thoroughly kissed . . . maybe showing off just a bit for Conner's benefit.

"You kiss way better than he ever did," he mumbled, grinning at Bel.

"'Course I do," Bel said. "Bet I do everything better."

"You're pretty damn much the best at everything," Anders said with a grin and a quick kiss. Obviously, he didn't believe in the possibility of Bel's ego getting out of control. "This is part of why I love you."

Ego, what ego? No, no ego here. Not at all. Really. Bel grinned then smacked Anders on the ass. "Now go find those sleeping bags," he said.

"Going, going," Anders laughed, leaving the picnic basket with Bel as he stood up to go. "See you tonight, after you're done here?"

"Oh yeah," Bel said. "I'll need a shower to wash all this sweat and grime off."

"And a massage, I bet," Anders added. "I always knew my hands were good for something, so . . . I'll be ready for you when you get back."

He winked and kissed Bel one more time, then headed off.
