When the students enter the Danger Shop for detention, they'll notice two very different things. One, it's snowing. Yes, snow is falling all around the Danger Shop. Two? Fraser's in long john's. It's probably the least amount of clothing he's ever worn during his time at Fandom High ~~and thank you canon for the icons~~. Of course, they're red.

Even with snow falling, the temperature isn't freezing. It's cold but not freezing. There's a list of names on the board.

Fraser nodded a greeting as everyone filed in. "Please sign in and take your seats. Since the majority of you are here do to some form of naked mutiny, I think we can start by giving you the choice of serving this detention fully clothed or...in the same sense as myself. It's going to be snowing the entire time though."

He paused for a moment. "Today? You'll be saving Canada from four very different foes. On the outside, they appear normal, everyday people or things. You will have to judge, examine and defeat. If you fail, Canada will fall and that will be on your mind. If you succeed, you will have succeeded in saving one of the most beautiful countries on the planet."

It began snowing harder. Fraser, if anything, looked gleeful. "Visitors will be allowed during lunch and only during lunch. So, if you're ready, we'll begin."

"Whoa, all six of them?" Rikku shuddered. "That's awful. How about you make the tea and tell me all about it? And we call some rehab centers, for your daughter."

"I have an eating disorder!"

"That's ..." Rikku thought for a minute, then placed a hand on the woman's shoulder. "I know, Beverly," she said softly. Hey, she looked like a Beverly. "We all know. Don't you think we've seen it? How long can we go on pretending? Do you know what you're doing to this family!?"

Oddly, her name was Beverly. She started to cry but didn't budge.

Rikku put her arms around the woman gently. "Help us to help you, Beverly. We're all here for you. We love you. But you have to take the first step, yeah? None of us can do it for you."

"WHY DOES THE WORLD HATE ME SO?"

"Beverly," Rikku reproached lightly. "Come on now. Things are bad but they'll get better. You know, we all came over here today for an intervention. Why don't you come back inside and sit down and just listen to what we have to say?"

"I just wanted to be loved," she sobbed.

"I know," Rikku said soothingly. "I know. We all do. But you've gotta start here first." She pointed at the woman's heart. "Beverly needs to love you, first. Yeah?"

"I want to get help," she said and wept.

"I believe you," Rikku nodded. "Come on inside, Beverly. I'll be right there with you while you make that call. You've gotta be the one to do it. But you don't have to do it alone."

"You'll leave like all the others!"

"Trust me, Beverly," said Rikku solemnly. "We're all waiting for you. We won't leave. Don't push us away. Don't you want to see?"

"I WANT TO BE FREEEEEEEEEEEE!" She nodded. "Let's go make the call."

"Good for you, Beverly! I believe in you." Rikku kept her arms around the woman as she walked them into the house. Slowly. No sudden movements. Come on, step at a time ...

Beverly stepped just inside the door. "And you won't leave?"

"Of course not," said Rikku. Wondering exactly how long this woman wanted her to stay and how long detention ran today, anyway. "Not until you've made that call and started your journey. Isn't it time?"

"It's time," she said and went inside the house, letting Rikku follow.

"Okay then." Man, this would be the perfect opportunity to slam the door shut and run for it, but she felt weirdly guilty about that. So she stepped inside the house and looked for the nearest phone. Phone call. Right.

Beverly found the phone, made the call and then looked so much more relieved.

"I'm getting help." She smiled. "Finally!"

"You are. It's a brand new day!" That called for another hug. "Oh, hey! I should go let the others know. They were seriously worried. Hang out here for a minute. I'll be right back. Okay?"
