After the class had assembled by the main campfire, Ares, still with blue hair, appeared before them. "Welcome, class, I'm Ares, God of War, and before you ask, yes, I am an actual god, with powers, so don't bother trying to prove I'm not¹, because it gets boring after a while, and when I get bored, bad things start happening."

"Now, you're all here because you have some self-confidence issues, and man, I can see why, but don't worry, by the time I'm through with you, you'll believe you can take on anything, and take over anywhere. And who knows? Someone of you might actually be able to."

"We'll start things off easy, and get into the hard stuff next week, so today I'm going to want you to introduce yourselves, tell me and the rest of the class a little about yourself, what you want out of this class, any weapons and or fighting experience you may have, that kind of thing."

Wyatt Halliwell

Wyatt wasn't sure how he ended up in this class. "I'm Wyatt Halliwell," he said. "I'm 17. I think I'm in here by mistake. I don't really have any confidence issues. ~~But I'm destined to become a power-hungry control freak, so my mun thought it would be funny to sign me up.~~"

Cedric Diggory

"Cedric Diggory," he started, "and I'm seventeen. I'm a wizard, I use a wand, not the dirty kind, and ride a broom."

Wyatt? Still trying to figure out what he was doing here.

Shawn Farrell

"Denial is a terrible thing Mr Halliwell," Ares said. "~~Luckily, power-hungry control freaks are my favourite kind of student, and being a Greek god means we can work around your sad lack of breasts.~~ Any weapons experience?"

"That's very interesting, Mr Diggory," Ares said. "Ever killed anyone?"

Sam Winchester

"Um." He hadn't expected that. "No. I'm really too young to use magic that way where I'm from."

"I'm Sam Winchester," he said, for the rest of the class' sake. "I'm 15, and I'm hoping that this class will help me figure out how to take insults better, without being...you know, so insulted."

"Don't worry," Ares said. "I believe that age is no barrier."

Ares grinned. It wasn't exactly a nice grin. "Ah, Midget Titan, so glad to see you again."

"I'm taking Mr. Winchester's firearms workshop," Wyatt said. "And I'm pretty good with a sword."

Frowning, he asked, "I'm not going to have to kill someone in this class, am I?"

"Of course not!" Ares replied. "I'd lose this job if I ordered a student to kill someone."

He stayed very quiet on the setting up a situation where a student could kill someone front, however.

"Good, good," Ares said. "Every killed anyone? Just one of those questions I have to ask."

"I'm not a Titan, sir. I'm just tall for my age," Sam replied.

"That's what they all say."

"Oh, good." He smiled pleasantly. He so had no idea who Ares was.
